Headnazgul
Apparently the rare(ish) items from the pirate implings include purple bandana and orange stripy pirate clothing, haven't seen any pics to confirm though. EDIT: Purple, orange, and gray variants of the usual pirate outfit. Plus left eye patch. that's about it from what i've seen.
Ravenkana
I think it's funny that people are telling others to work on their smithing. Guess what? This is a game. Last time I checked, games were meant to be a method of escape from work and the pressures of life. Instead, we are meant to train a skill that is hated by many and has very few rewards. I don't like training smithing. It's dull, often expensive, and the exp rewards are based on the bars used, not the level of item. And it's also monotonous. It feels like work. Erego, I don't want to train it just so I can do a quest who's major rewards are experience. And I have observed that experience rewards are quickly forgotten after they've been received. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

I'll probably do it in the end, but it'll be more grudgingly than anything. And, by the way, your news flash makes little sense. I'll whine about training smithing because I CAN'T do the quest. Punc
It was a fun quest, with a great opening for future quests. Only had to get my thieving up, which is alot easier then smithing, but still couldn't do it on the first day. The puzzle thing was very funny, poor seagull thou  As for the people that wnated a fight, I'm sure in the next 'episode' you'll get too fight off legions of undeath pirates :D

I want to wear a farming cape but don't have 99 Farming, Jagex should let me wear one just because I want to, even though I don't have 99 Farming. ^^That's exactly how you sound, if you don't get the requirements, you can't get the rewards. Why do you expect that to be different for you?

I think the smithing requirement was a great idea, it gave most people a chance to actually work for their cape again. Since Devious Minds I don't think I've once trained a skill to do a quest, until now.
Kevin_
Lol like 69 Smithing is a high requirement. Anyway i'm going to do the quest later on, i'll post my thoughts then. Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.
Yes_Its_Ross
Jagex has nothing to do with the reqs. The tasks you need to do in the quest call for the high req. Blame the NPC's. :P ]
acenator
I'm going to have to say that that was one of the best quests they've released lately. I especially liked the disclamer after the long cutscene. Very well done. =D> > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
phata_elise
Anyone tried to steal from the new evidence cabinets? I seem to get a rune scimitar every 100 cabinets or so. About the same for the lvl 2 clues. I had 4 clues and three of them gave me the rewards on the first scroll. What are your experiences with the new cabinets?
