50CENT
Hey all, I've been wondering if treasure trails clues are even worth the effort of doing anymore. Recently, I've done seven level 3 clues in the past week and the maximum value of a clue I finished was just over 60K. Hell, my last two clues barely netted me 15K. How are your recent treasure trail experiences? Hopefully they aren't abysmal as mine. Thanks for any help
Skilling0wn
Well, Some people got Golden hair a hidden place. Im not one of them. I never do clues. Waste of time. But who knows, You might be one of those lucky son of a gun's. :o
Inuashakent
Bad luck. With the ge, you can just toss junk into the ge without wasting too much bank space. So yes, do them. I don't do them because even though I memorized most clues, I just... don't like them. highlanders
Not really, the good rewards are rare. Just do it if you enjoy it, but don't expect anything. 2480+ total
davidium
i mainly do it to break the monotony of slayer...i admit most of the rewards are not that great most of the time but occasionally you will get something nice but don't count on it too often... maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
nerdattack16
I started thinking that all clues were terrible, but them I got a Saradomin kiteshield in a clue, and a Robin Hood hat in the next. Keep going - you will get something good eventually. You're making money anyway, even if it is 15k at a time. crow
It's like monsterdrops: one time you get 100 without something good; other time you get 4 good outa 5 (last lvl3 gave me guth kite: easy 400k)
Kinemas
I always do clue I get from slayer. Last three clues: Rune platebody (T), Robin Hat , Rune full helm (T). Sure I've had my fair share of worthless clues, but I think it fun to do something else for about 15-20 minutes before turning back to slayer. agira
Before they updated clues with some emote doings with some items i done a lot of they, now in my opinion is time waste if you man who count experience per hour, but if you interest only in profit then it worth yes :) P.S. Almost of clues scrolls i drop if they about emotes or wildy, just i hate to waste so much time to collect required items then to keep trash in bank because maybe i will need this for some clue, but after some training maybe i one day decide to consider on clue doing then i will prepare all items & etc... it depends on what you want. Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
duarte_a
I am a memeber for only three months now. I had a lvl3 treasure trail and got zamorak platebody, I got lucky that time I guess. But before this one I had made a lot of clue scrolls and I got only got junk. There was one that took me nearly an hour I had to do two puzzles go to the wilderness three times, ... I mean it was an huge task and all I got was some black chaps, a rune pickaxe and a rune full helm. If your looking to spent your time efficiently I wouldn't do the clues, if you like doin them then go for it, you might just get a nice surprise. But don't count on it too much. :)
cat666
I do them but only to break from slayer. Recently the clues seem to be getting longer as well. Trust the Gene Genie!
Haaa_Haaa0
i havent got any recently, but ive definitely heard they just arent worth it any more. ive probably done 25+ clues, and ive only got a black beret (back when they were 130k, and i tried to sell for only 30k  ) and i think purple ele legs. other than that, i havent even gotten sweets or firelighters :( but their always nice to do to break up the monotony. Vulxai
I do them if I get them, I just don't go clue hunting. The best I've gotten is a sleeping cap, but I wore it around aaaaall the time...then I sold it for 300k. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
BiJay
Due to less people doing clues these times treasure trail items keep rising. You should give it a try. Who knows perhaps you get lucky. [404] Signature not found.
RyderJ
I've done over 30 in a row now, without one going over 50k worth. AND they take 2 clue trips longer than the old ones did. I would never hunt for level 3s again, but I'd do them if I got them from Slayer or whatever.
