Runescape turns into Single Player. Could you survive ?

If runescape became single player, it would see a huge aspect of the game removed. Monster hunting for one, and as you said the economy. I personally don't think Runescape could last a single player game.

Yeah i could, if people were on msn when i played it. Yet, i play runescape when people are offline :shock: .

 

 

 

I need it for multi player to actually do something while i do it. Runescape isn't a flashy 360/Wii/Ps3 game where you can survive it alone(even though, when you finish a Single player game, your most likely not to play it again) IT NEEDS THE MULTIPLAYER ASPECT of it.

The question was if you would survive, not quit. Like, could you do everything yourself: mine your ores, smith good armor, etc. The only player interaction I have now is the GE and competing for trees and rocks. So, I'd still play it. The only reason I need money is to save time that I waste competing with others.

I wouldn't play anymore since the only thing that makes this game fun is group things and chatting with friends. Without my friends to play Castle Wars or Godwars Dungeon with I'd just be like wow this is boring and quit.

I'm pretty sure I'd try it out, then quit. It would be much too long/boring. I can stand not talking to people and I do a lot of things myself but single player RS would be over the limit of what I can stand.

Sheild of Arrav and Heros are two examples of why single player doesnt work.

 

Grand exchange also wont work. (unless you plan on selling items to yourself for profit).

I would quit in a second. The only reason I play is because you can achieve things, and the fact that the game is multiplayer. Jagex removed some of the aspects of multipleplayer interaction about 7 months ago, and look how many people (not macroers) quit.
