^ Did you ever like try to summon a ghost? Or any other member of your family?

I heard if you do so, the ghost will come and haunt your house forever... =/

It's kinda strange though... I suggest moving or something, this might get worse...

I sorta saw one the other night, it's easily scientifically explainable, but I'm sure it was a ghost.

This really pale guy was cycling down my road at like 3am in the morning, I'd just got into bed and saw him go under the only working street light which flickered as he went under it (Their getting re-done next week some time, it's really bad) and went it came back on him and his bike had completly gone. There isn't any little side paths he could of gone down and I had the window open, so I would of heard a door open. It's fully possible I was just being deaf however, but I could swear it was a ghost.

Nah, I've watched those ghost shows before so I've never been into trying to summon ghosts or whatnot. I was talking to my dad last night and appearently he heard the scream come from my room but thought nothing of it. Also, we're filing backrupcy so we're going to lose our house and have to move when the bank takes it. I'm actually hoping they take it soon because I'm not thrilled about staying here any longer. My dad even said we would pack up and leave if he had a job right now.

Deloria, moving may not help.

Maybe the house is not haunted, but YOUR haunted. It's a possibility.

Im probably moving aswell, I have some little girl with a dirty white dress, and she is pale with black hair drooped over her face. I first saw her at my mates house, and I think she followed me home...

^Dude,I'm not supersticious,I mean I just failed spelling it,but I suggest you keep something sharp under your bed.Really,that sounds like a pontianak...Like a vampire,but female,and usually preys on the pregnant...Usually,not always.Or,get exorcised?

Me,I came home and saw the toilet light ON.The switch was down and all.Its in the same room as my parents',so I go check on them. They're asleep.I hear NOTHING all the way,and its quite a noisy door to open.Damn toilet light was off...

There was once I had my shower water heating up,on the scale of "hotness" it was right in the middle.Went to get my clothes,'cause thats about the time it takes for the water to heat up.The shower head was on the floor, and the tap was on "cold".I swear I was alone.Only thing good about that situations was that I was naked, and had no pants on to wet...(Not that I pee'd,just the shower head was pointing straight at my crotch when I entered)

Im home alone, and that stupid little girl just knocked over some damn plates. My mom isn't gonna beleive a freaking ghost broke her damn china!

EDIT: I doubt it is a pontianak. Aless this girl was killed by one, she can't be one. They usually die in child birth. I Googled it once you mentioned it. I wonder if there real...

Edit 2: Maybe the china fell on itself, but I doubt it.

Heh, that's a possibility I don't want to think about :P I was doing some research and I'm kind of hoping I have some haunted objects or something to that affect. I remember hearing what sounded like a dog chain rattling at night when I was younger but I always thought it was my imagination (until I actually saw the dog sitting in my brother's room). Now this ghost of a man has been lurking around for quite a while and I'm trying to figure out what I might have brought home that may be haunted. As far as the dog goes, I'm pretty sure we have the ashes of one or more of our old dogs stored around the house somewhere.

this is all your imagination if you're afraid of something, or just thinking about it. maybe your mind thought at an object you brought home that it belonged to someone or it was haunted because it was a mysterious object, but you yourself didn't think that it was deep away in your mind waiting to come out. now you see that man because your mind thinks that.

How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

What about Polterghists (not sure if that is correct spelling), they can physically pick up objects and hurl them, or pick up people.

A bit small, but it shows a girl being picked up by .. .. ..some thing that is unseeable.

I thought that too, but it is one of the most widely used pictures in that topic, when the picture is larger in books, you can see the girl with a very unsettled look on her face, and a sort of white mist beneath her.

I find it amazing that in this day and age people still believe in things like ghosts.

Well, once you've seen something very similar with your eyes right in front of you, it's very hard not to believe in them.

What would make you think it wasn't some easily explainable phenomenon such as hallucination, optical illusion or countless other situations? In your case you say the figure was "human like", this implies it wasn't clearly a human, just something sort of looks like it could possibly be human. An optical illusion of course wouldn't likely produce something that would look like a crystal clear human figure but instead would produce something like you saw which would to someone look human like but not clearly human. Also in your situation like almost every other it occurred in a dark room where there is a very low signal-to-noise ration for your vision which leaves a lot more of what you see to your imagination than in a regular situation.

Once again, think i mensioned it on first post, in a pitch black room, human like figure just appears from wall and walks across the room, the nose was the most clear feature on the face, but most other things were a blur, and my friends saw it as well.

Back to my previous argument, you SHOULD NOT move because of a ghost. You just have to deal with it. As a last resort, you could have your house excorsized(sp)

There was a woman who moved into her house and when she woke up the first morning her closet door was open. She moved. Now, does that seem rational to you?

Ghosts are nothing to be afraid of.

Poltergheists are not considered ghosts, but are actually linked to a specific person, usually a teen. Moving will not stop one.

Demons are not ghosts either, are rare, and can be excorsized.

Some things aren't ghosts at all. Residual hauntings aren't really ghosts.

Best haunting ever: Succubi. Only without the whole "death by exhaustion" thing. Haunting, with benefits ;)
