deloriagod
Why do people suggest moving? They're not going to hurt you. Some can hurt you and with the way this one has started acting, I don't want to be anywhere near it. I've heard stories of ghosts following people from house to house but I'm praying this one is attached to this house. Also, there's a show on Discovery called "A Haunting". There was one episode where a guy took his chances with summoning up spirits and managed to get himself a really nasty demon. It would take the form of a wolf at night and (while it couldn't be seen) would attack the guy when he tried to sleep. So the guys family came to live with him and when his mother found out what was going on they all moved. But the demon followed them so they moved back to their old house and decided to have an exorcisism. During that exorcisism his mother died and had hand prints on her neck. I don't know if the story was entirely true or spiced up for tv, but it makes me a little weary. I find it amazing that in this day and age people still believe in things like ghosts. When you first see it, it's easy to dismiss it a your imagination. When you're the only one that sees it, it's easy to dismiss it as your imagination. When you entire family sees it, when your friends hear it, when some people sense it, it's easy to believe it's real. I would love nothing more than to dismiss this as just my imagination running wild but there have been too many witnesses. -------------------------------- I was talking to my parents earlier and I've come to the conclusion that the ghost of the dog is completely harmless. We had a dog when I was really young that was really protective of the family and when it died we had it cremated. We still have that dogs ashes in our house and after seeing old pictures of that dog I realised it looks just like the ghost. That doesn't stop it from being creepy though. The human ghost, I still don't know anything about it. Even in the light I'm paranoid now. I'm fine when I stay in high traffic areas but once I venture towards the areas where I see it most, I start to freak out. Earlier I managed to go into my room long enough to change to help my parents clean out our pool. The whole time I could feel the ghost sitting in the corner by my bed.. People love this stuff. It's fun. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Meldar
I've never experienced anything like that. However, it would be against my nature to disavow the existence of something I have never seen. So there are ghosts, there are supernatural beings, and there are spirits. tumblr / central / dA / photo FB

IeatWindex
It's quite difficult to get a church to accept an excorcism =| Deloria pray its not haunting you. And if it's a demon, do NOT provoke it. Ive been insulting this ghost lately. Something like, "Stupid [wagon] [cabbage] gagging [rooster] eating [bleep], I [bleep]ing dare you to do something." Yea whatever it is isn't a happy camper right now.

So far no luck :( Heh, my mom was all surprised when she realised I could see the ghosts during the day. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to since they're not glow-in-the-dark or anything lol. But soon the sun will set, I'll become paranoid and the ghost will be all over me. I don't understand why is generally leaves me alone during the day but is always nearby at night :-k You probably shouldn't be provoking your ghost either :P Pretty soon it's going to do something terrible like knocking your computer over  Internet Marketing For Newbies
IeatWindex
Ive clarified I don't give a flying horse [cabbage] about it. Ok I just dared the ghost to do something repeatedly. Finally I just sat down and there was the sound of a door slamming. Im not scared, im not going to give the ghost the significance (sp?) of being able to make me scared. Lenin64
Sometimes (and this hasn't happened for a month or so now, actually) my bed will start shaking, like there was an earthquake or someone shaking it. I wrote it off to my sleep-bleary half-awake mind, but a few weeks ago my sister was in bed and suddenly tore through the hall screaming, and said something had shaken her bed. Interesting, especially since I never told anyone about it happening to me before. Command the Murderous Chalices! scootlaboot
I agree. Remember what dragoon said about pontianaks? This is fake but sums up how they are suppose to look [hide=][/hide] The legend: http://horrorstories.anthonet.com/archi ... -pontianak That picture looks almost exactly like the apparition I saw about 6 years ago in my grandparents house. Also there are several places from around where I grew up that are considered haunted. First of which is my mother's work place, a hospitals turned nursing home, that has has several ghosts walking its halls. One of which is a little girl that has been dubbed the angel of death because she only appears before somebody is about to die. My mother once ticked of a ghost by accidentally pushing an empty wheelchair into the wall; causing the ghost to fly past her and hit the wall behind her with great force, causing people from downstairs to go up and ask her what that huge bang was. Secondly, there is this old abandoned furnace/kiln thing that this guy burned people alive in on a back road somewhere. All I really know is that it existed and that people who know nothing about it are said to feel extremely uncomfortable while around the area. Then you've got the one house that my best friend's girlfriend's grandparents committed suicide in.They only open the place up during Halloween for a charity haunted house, the reason being that the place is evil. While setting up for a party two years ago my friend and his future brother-in-law were tidying up the bathroom when the lights went out and they saw a man in a bathtub full of blood and his throat slit from ear to ear. ______________________________________ Also, has anyone ever heard of any spiritual phenomena involving a white bat. I wrote it off to my sleep-bleary half-awake mind, but a few weeks ago my sister was in bed and suddenly tore through the hall screaming, and said something had shaken her bed. Interesting, especially since I never told anyone about it happening to me before. I did some research on shaking beds, and you're not the only one experiencing it. Although the cases can be a bit different, it all comes down to the same: very late at night the bed starts shaking violently, sometimes 'till it starts making noises. There was one story in particular which freaked me out: Here. To the post above: The last one is just... woah... Sounds like a scene from a horrormovie... And no, I never heard about white bats... What's wrong with 'em? :?
scootlaboot
And no, I never heard about white bats... What's wrong with 'em? :? Years before I was born a white bat got into my grandparents home and my grandpa hit it with a blunt instrument and it fell to the floor. dragoonson
That pontianak picture is exactly what I've been told it looks like...I've had some past experience with a spirit...I can't remember its name, but its basically a doppelganger.Had a rather quiet classmate and one day he just started being really sarcastic. The teacher called up his parents and he apparently hadn't been to school for a week,on account of fever. :ohnoes: so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! sibmaster
Lol, ok then. Agunimon979
Someone who has seen a ghost talk to them or something tell me why it is scary? Like, if a famous comedian died near you, would he come to your bed in the middle of the night as a ghost and tell jokes? I dunno...
Kiriyama
Humans instinctively have a fear of phenomena like ghosts. It is something we cannot understand or explain. I feel that we as a species have a fear of most of which that is beyond our comprehension. We may never encounter a ghost or such, yet we always fear them. Well, except those who have grown used to them. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
