IeatWindex
Anyone want to hear something creepy? Every Halloween night between 1:45 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. on River road, Manchester, NH the famous river road jogger. An apparition of a jogger runs down river road, and hundreds of people go and see. No jogger ever died on the road, no history. The jogger shows no emotion and appears every year. I have a picture of the jogger and everyone there, I will try finding it. There's something like that a few blocks from me. There's a house that is supposed to be haunted. Every night at midnight a ghost is said to appear. Tons of people claim to have seen it, high school classes often take trips there, and it's really popular around Halloween. My neighbor and I were going to go try to see the ghost a few nights ago but she never called me back. Oh well, I'll find someone else to go with soon :P Internet Marketing For Newbies

JeremyM
this happened to my aunt. my uncle (her husband) was really ill with brain cancer earlier this year, and one night my aunt was sleeping and in her dream she heard the most scary voice she had ever heard say "help meeee". she woke up and ran over to my uncle and checked if he was ok, and he was. she heard this voice about 3 times in 2 hours and every time she checked to see if my uncle was alright, he was. it's not so much paranormal, but it sure did scare her everytime she heard that voice. on this note, my uncle died of brain cancer in march at the age of 44. RIP Uncle Dwight. [Admin Edit: Attempting to publicly humiliate a user in your signature is inappropriate] Quit Runescape... Dec 2001 - Jan 2008 on and off... mostly off. There were no cameras which filmed the crash. Evaluate
A local hotel in my city supposedly has a haunted boiler room. Kind of cliche, but I had an experience there once, possibly paranormal. When I was walking back from the pool late one night, I walked past the boiler room, and there were wet footsteps leading into the room. May not sound like much, but when it's almost midnight and the halls have been empty for probably an hour at least, maybe 2, it's kinda freaky. It's not enough to make me a full-on believer, but I'll say it's certainly a possibility. 7 years 'scape knowledge and counting99 Attack - June 8th 2010 99 Defence - August 2nd 2011 99 HP - December 2nd 2011
Mercifull
Not nescercarily, this could have happened. Just because this other person has shoved a load of links in your face proving it wrong, doesnt definately prove that this was 'false memory'No it could not have happened. The links I provided were carefully selected to explain in the best possible way what I was trying to explain without making a really long post that people would have just skimmed past. Another explanation, Lyra, that i remembered yesterday evening when watching Big Brother is the psychological effect of following a group. In last nights episode two of the housemates had to create a distraction and one of the housemates claimed ot have seen a rat and started panicing. Very soon other members of the house were crowded around screaming franticly that there was a rat, beliving that they saw it too and trying to get away from it. There was NO rat. There have been literally thousands of experiments done on this and it could explain also what happened the night you did the board. It only takes one person to say they thought that the glass moved and then other people feel the same way and think they saw it move too (this is also related to the false memory effect as mentioned in the above post). It's human instinct to follow the group and it can soon turn into everyone in the room beliving that the glass moved. I tried to find a link to a television show that went into great detail about this with all other kinds of experiments showing how people tend to follow the crowd. A good example was a group of people sat in a room (all were stooges except for one) and then smoke starts coming in from under the door slightly, everyone in the room just ignores the smoke. Then a fire alarm is heard, everyone stays in the room. I dont remember the exact figure but most of the people who were not the actors in on the experiment stayed in the room despite smoke and a fire alarm simply because everyone else was staying still. I try to be polite and informative in all my replies about paranormal subjects if you are offended please dont take it personally. But I will say with complete and utter certainty that there are NO ghosts or spirits and you CANNOT channel them from the "other side" with a ouija board nor can "psychics" speak to the dead. JeremyM
A few nights ago I had a dream about my older brothers girlfriend Kiersten who died. I was dreaming about me and her sitting in her bedroom talking about random stuff that we always talked about. Looking back I know that the conversation we had, we actually did have before she died, and I was just reliving it. So, then she looks at me and says you have to come and see me, the stone is broke, you need to fix it. I woke up and I was shivering, because I didn't get it. I told my brother and he said we should go to her grave. When we got there, her gravestone had a huge crack down the middle. We couldn't figure out how it had been cracked but I was seriously freaked out. I don't usually remember my dreams so I don't know what made me remember this one. Also, Kiersten's cousin was killed by a police car just over two months ago. The two were very close, like sisters. Me along with some friends went to go see her cousins Mam. She told us that she had been sitting watching TV late at night and she heard Kiersten's voice but she couldn't figure out where it was coming from. She said that Kiersten had said Hayley (the girl who died) was with her and that she would look after her like she always had done. We were all a bit scared but then we were happy that the two were together. that just made me shiver for some reason  but last night i had a dream about my uncle who died from brain cancer in march. this was the first time i have ever dreamed about him since his passing and i was just so suprised to see him in my dream cause earlier this week i was wondering if i could dream about dead people. but anyway, in the dream once i saw him i st arted crying and then i woke up and had tears down my eyes :( [Admin Edit: Attempting to publicly humiliate a user in your signature is inappropriate] Quit Runescape... Elferin
Well I have had a few. I work at a gas station right beside a busy highway. One night I was working, it was fairly slow, when I notice somebody walk across the highway. There is nothing on the other side of the highway. He walks in, and stands there, and looks at me, and walks out. That was scary/creepy lol. Also one night I was working at my old job. I was on night shifts and I was working outside. I live in Canada and it was winter so there was lots of snow :P Anyways I see somebody standing about 50 feet away from me. I called out to him but he never said anything. So I picked up my shovel (yes, I was really scared) and walked over there. Being so late by the time I got over there I realized there was nothing there, and there was no footprints in the snow, no trace of life.. But I know there was something there. I think there is such things as ghosts because of these experiences lol.. Elf
