It's scary because it's something we're all come to associate with being scary. That and what Sword said. I guess the majority of my fear comes from 1) having it invade my personal space and 2) knowing I can't physically harm it, but it can hurt me if it wanted to.

True. Guys the stupid [developmentally delayed] of a ghost has been acting up lately. Things aren't so good.

Jeeez. I just watched this program about this haunted house thing, creepy. :ohnoes:

So I went to see a professional sensitive or something to that effect today. She basically gave me some sage and showed me how to purify myself, my family, my house, and how to talk to the ghost. I'm currently debating on whether I should start now or wait for dark :-k

Well, I'm deloria's brother, so I get to deal with the same ghosts as he does. :wall:

 

Last night I was home alone, and I was sitting on my computer playing games. My computer is right next to the stairs going upstairs. I hear a sound coming from up there, and it sounds like claws dragging accross the wooden floor. First thought that pops into my mind: Oh no, the dog ghost is back and I'm home alone. :o Second though: It might just be one of our four dogs.... So I calm myself, and continue playing, while keeping a close eye on the stairs to see if one of the dogs comes down or goes up. I hear the claws some more, so I wonder the main floor, and find all four dogs, sleeping soundly semi near me... So i accept my first thought, and quietly [cabbage] myself... (didn't really poop.... lol) So anyways, I wake up Hope, (one of my dogs) and she sits beside me while I play... More noises come from upstairs, and Hope moves to the bottom of the stairs and growls for a while. I get to freaked out and go lay on the couch untill my family got home lol. Fun times...not really. :cry:

 

 

 

Also, I enjoy making fun of the human ghost while in deloria's room with him... hopefully it doesn't go crazy sometime and just maul us... :pray:

Damn I got a shock when I got into this dark toilet in school.Its an old place,and we're in a holding location.I didn't know the lights were automatic and I couldn't find the light switch.So I took my pee and washed my hands.Suddenly the lights go up lol.Knowing my past experience with the supernatural I just ran.

I've read his other posts in this thread, but up until that point I just naturally assume people don't believe in ghosts, no matter how off the wall their other opinions are.

Well,I've grown up in a very supersticious environment and while I don't fully believe now,its always better to respect the dead anyway.

 

 

 

Speaking of which,my Lunar birthdate is the 15th of the 7th month.Thats right smack in the middle of the month spirits are let out of hell to roam and stuff.They call it the Hungry Ghost Festival I believe,and being born on that day is inaupicious >.<

Well I have a little experience with this stuff but,

 

 

 

Twice, I've seen a ghost animal going behind and infront of me, first time it was moose, second time it was rabbit they were white and they ran so fast so I couldn't get my eyes on them but seeing them was scary enough.

 

 

 

Once in middle of night, cup fell from cupboard, yet, cupboard was closed when we went check it.

 

 

 

Once I saw a dream about me talking to couple of ex-friends, behind our house near backdoor, then we all woke up to this "humanish" language coming from backdoor (it sounded like in my dream) it really was like 2 people talking... but when my dad went there, it was 2 cats :| and there lived no cats near our house.

Because to me it sounds residual, in which case, it's not even someone returning from the dead.

I saw some crazy-[wagon] ball lighting one before. (*Crazy [wagon]-ball lighting?)

 

 

 

Either ball lighting, or something paranormal that looked like it. It appeared in the upper corner of my kitchen, and zoomed past the pots and pans hanging from a rack, and they swung around a ton before falling off.
