I could not see why they would. Just because they look better wouldn't make everyone buy it. And if they looked better then so would every other Rare (Party Hats, Masks, etc.)

Same with the Green Mask. I bought it for 13m a while back, and they haven't broken 12 since.

it's hard to tell...they might go up with jagex made the santas look nicer...if they made all the rares look nicer it is logical that more people would want to buy it to look nice in the game especially rich f2pers...the graphical looks of rares definitely affect them...when RS2 came out the price of masks dropped steeply against santas cause their appearance was much uglier compared to santas...it could happen again this time or the tables could turn...its anyone's guess

But remember this: Not only will Santas, Masks, and Party Hats look cooler, but everything in the game will.. And not every single item's price is going to go up.. :roll:

Impressive things will. People will want screenshots and such. Think of all the people buying back their Bandos sets because they want to see how it looks with the new graphics.

you can take the "risk" , altough it isn't really a risk because the prices wont go down because of the graphic update.

I doubt it, but you never know. People do alot of things for looks so if it looks really, really good then maybe.

It's entirely possible that rares will go up in price. You should not forget that, with so few of them out there that, with people trying to buy santa's (especially with prices today) the prices will rise because

 

A) People will most likely not be selling

 

B) People will be trying to buy

 

 

 

This will cause prices to shoot up, provided there is no limit.

 

 

 

I estimate that the rush will last at most 3 months, then prices will start to decline once more. If the lending system is introduced before then, well, prices will decline sooner

I know several girls who will simply not wear berets anymore because they make them look bald.

 

 

 

Since this is an issue that is going to be fixed with the new update, I'll bet that there will be a small [bleep]e in them and any other headwear that had this problem.

Yeah, people are going to want to screenshot their amour in fullscreen and stuff so it might go up, but not like everyone is going to run to GE to buy a santa.

well i'm looking forward to my infinity hat not making my pure look bald, but i don't really see the prices of things going up. People have outfits for looks already so i doubt they will buy a more expensive good lookin outfit just because of teh update.

I hope prices go up, but i'm willing to wait til Christmas time when it jumps.

Rune plate does exactly the same as a Rune plate (g), yea.. rune plate g is RARER but it does the same thing, yet people wear them 'thinking' they look good.

 

 

 

So.. tbh, i think the Santa will go up, just because it looks good.

 

It's just how people 'look'. Look at skillers, there attack and defence bonuses don't even hit 10+, yet worth PROBABLY 10M!
