Me and Nadril were tearing it up as Medic/Soldier combo.

 

 

(The guy only beat his score in humiliation)

 

 

 

Then on the next map he killed like 8 people in 4 shots with the kritzkreig because they were all on the cart. It was pretty funny.

Btw, does anyone know where I can get the TF2 sound files? I know how to get to the Sound folder but it just seems to have all the custom sounds downloaded from modded servers.

Install it then go to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps And double click on one of the team fortress 2 gcfs(game cache file) and look around for the sound files. Then just extract their folder somewhere.

Just be like everyone else W+M1

 

 

 

hehe, nah don't just do that.

 

Don't use backburner, put out teammates with compression blast, fire soldiers rockets back, use axtinguisher if you catch heavy on fire and he's close, use shotgun when they run away.

 

 

 

Those are the basics for a good pyro.

Nah, sometimes Steam fails to record, the records are supposed to be kept permanently.

Seeing as L4D came out after TF2 I would assume that they decided to change the folder structure.

I dunno, it just awesome. Basically I just got annoyed with people not being able to take out sentries and no one would ever think of getting an uber. So I started playing medic to get rid of sentries. If you're good you should always be top 3 on your team in the scores, so thats always nice.

 

 

 

But what sucks about medic is that EVERYONE goes after you, sometimes I cant move two steps with an uber charge before I get backstabbed or sniped, so that gets really [bleep]ing annoying.

 

 

 

But if you start here are some tips.

 

Dont be afraid to pop your uber early, sometimes is better then nothing. (I still need to work on this)

 

If you have to, retreat, 50% of your uber charge is worth more then your teammate.

 

Try and heal everyone but prioritize, like you should heal snipers last even though they [bleep] about it the most.

 

When you're ubered you are a meatshield. Stand infront of your target and take all the fire so he is not blown around. Try and jump around and block any shots that could hit teamates.

 

 

 

That is all I can think of for now. Oh and ubersawing people if [bleep]ing awesome.

Haha, I will definitely try that! I love having the enemy thinking I'm no big deal, then getting a full ubercharge by meleeing a heavy to death with the ubersaw :lol:

 

 

 

So the new tactic for Badlands is Blitzkrieg. I was a Scout and won every game by just rushing through.

I'll play medic if no one else will, it's fun but i'd rather be the one killing people. Also it's annoying when a scout with 80 hp won't stop shouting medic while he's jumping around like a [developmentally delayed]ed rabbit and there are 3 other people who need health nearby. :evil:

Just broke my awesomeness record for an engineer. On orange x3, if you're unfamiliar with the map, the spawns are accessible to either team, if you crouch jump over the wall. Atleast on the server I use, the gravity is lower so any class can get in and out, not just demomen or soldiers. Anyways, on a full server of 32 people, I snuck into the back corner of their spawn, where no one ever looks, built a dispenser, then put a sentry behind the dispenser so it wouldn't shoot. Got the sentry to level 3, then built a teleporter exit, with the entrance in my spawn. I told my team about the teleporter, and people were more than happy to get a free ticket to the opposite spawn room. Once a couple people came through, I destroyed the dispenser, and the sentry gone started tearing up anyone who spawned. It covered the whole room (which is much larger than most spawn rooms on official maps), so no one could hide. Another engineer came through, and I helped them build up another sentry. So in the end, we had half of my team in the enemies spawn, as well as two level 3 sentries. This lasted for a few minutes, until a spy was able to disguise before being killed, and sap our sentries, which allowed their team to kill them without being murdered. An admin who was on said he had never seen any engineer be able to do that, and this is, in terms of number of people who have played on the server, the second most popular server in the world (I think).

 

 

 

That was good fun. After that, to avoid it happening again, they built a sentry in their spawn. Also, during that time we pushed them back to their last point, since no one could get out to fight. That was the most fun on tf2 in a while for me.

It's not too hard to do on that map either if you know what you're doing. It's just hard to get a sentry to such a high level in their spawn before someone happens to randomly turn around and see you.

 

The way you get to the spawn is cool too. There's only one way you can consistently do it. Flying engineer. Here's how it works. There's a tower in the middle of the map, with a capture point on the top. If they build a sentry on the bottom part of their tower, outside of it, which is a common place, you can jump off the top of the tower, past the sentry, then the sentry will push you higher into the air, and right towards their spawn. It takes some practice, but you'll land with maybe 30 health left, in a spot where no one ever looks. It's a lot easier to explain if you know them map, which I don't know if you do. I'll show you sometime if you ever play on the no-heroes orange server.

i got the orange box awhile ago and after the pyro update i couldnt play TF2 anymore for some resaon, well i upgraded my GFX card and i can play it again, haha im so happy, + im gonna get more ram too soon
