Just got TF2 just getting started installing. :D

Another good tactic, and a funny one, is keep sapping the sentry. As soon as the engie wacks it off, sap it again. If you do it correctly, the engie won't have time to repair his sentry and the continuous sapping will drain the sentry's health. The key to this is moving quickly and avoiding his fire, and make sure there aren't many other enemies in the area. Doesn't work all the time, but its worth a shot if the engie is well placed.

Against spies its like 90% crit I think.

Got the Sandman and the Barbequeq Achivevement in the game I was just playing.

Against spies its like 90% crit I think.

Also pyros. And heavies. And pretty much everything. That wrench is just insane in the crist department.

I've gotten around 20 achievements or so close to unlocking my first pyro thing.

DONT USE THE BACKBURNER.

Unless you plan on doing useful pyro things. The only thing the flamethrower is good for is for a full frontal rush. Good for some situations, but overall I find it's easier for a pyro when you get the jump on a group, and thats where the backburner shines. The exception would be on a map like Badlands, where the compression blast is good for knocking enemies off the bridge.

Yeah, but only an in area where they can be knocked off of something, like the Badlands bridge or whatever map it is where the last point is in the middle of a pit. The backburner is Jesus on maps like 2fort and Pipeline.

Quite. Ubered pyro coming to jack up your [cabbage] sentry nest? air blast that bastard out of their and, while you may die, the sentry won't and he and his medic will. Point C on Gravel Pit? Air blast that soldier right off. Tonna stickies on the cart? Air blast. Kritzed soldier? Good luck, but you can airblast at least few rockets, and potentially save your team.

 

 

 

The flare gun is good for some maps, though, the more wide-open ones like early Badwater and Dustbowl last stage. But there's no defense against a shotgun pyro.

The last time you said that, I switched and haven't gone back since. It's so great against any ubers, and if a enemy's back is already turned, you can still get a lot of damage in.

 

I'm still not very good, and am still having the problem with stats not saving. I got like 43 points on engineer the other day and it didn't save. I think it has to with dieing and server switching maps, but I'm not sure.
