I mean like Heavy is rival to Scout, Spy is rival to Sniper, Demo is rival to Engi, Soldier is rival to his own damn weapon, etc...

 

 

 

Pyro is too effective to not have a rival. Imagine if we didn't have Demos? Then all Engi's would have to worry about would be Spies, and to a decent Engi they aren't a threat. All they would really have to deal with would be an occasional uber-heavy or Pyro, which only happens occasionally.

Meh depends on the pyro to be honest. A pyro with back burner are too easy to kill, but the ones with compression blast are annoying.

Shotgun. Or you can always just shoot to the left or right of them so they can't airblast. Obviously if you shoot straight at a pyro with AB he'll just send it back at you.

yeah just aim at the ground near the pyro, or shotgun. Most are too stupid to use airblast well anyways.

Yeah i want soldier to b e updated next. Been playing it a lot recently. I'm just worried they'll screw it up like the scout update :?

When a Medic deployed an ubercharge I ate a Sandvich, and got the one for eating 100 of them, along with Milestone 2.

I posted a few pages back, and I finally got the game to work about a week ago. \

 

So far I'm horrible, but I guess I just have to play a little bit more. Right now pyro seems the easier to learn, but hopefully I'll get better at everyone. One quick question: I keep breaking my record for damage/most points etc, but it doesn't save it when I quit/disconnect. Does it only record the points you got after each game/miniround/all the time. I was bummed when I booted steam back up and found it hadn't saved 'em.

 

On another note, besides playing more (which I hope to do this summer), does anyone have any good resources that you good link me to?

 

Maybe I'll be good enough to play with you guys sometime...

Watch the video i posted above for playing soldier. There are plenty of guides for playing classes on youtube, watch a few. Then just go out and play, the best way to learn is by playing. Good luck :mrgreen:

The other day I got probably the funniest use of the Spy ever.

 

 

 

I can do a decent impression of his voice, and decided to have some fun with it.

 

 

 

I was at my friend's house (he plays too) and the power went out. He couldn't see a thing, but I have good eyesight and could make out his silhouette. I sneaked up behind him and said "Gentlemen."

 

 

 

He screamed and I heard a thud. When the power came back on I saw that he had grabbed a wooden plank and but it over his back :lol:
