It takes away one of the scouts most powerful weapons, even if you can kinda double jump with the FaN its still nowhere near as good. Sandman rapes. I mean like Heavy is rival to Scout, Spy is rival to Sniper, Demo is rival to Engi, Soldier is rival to his own damn weapon, etc... Pyro is too effective to not have a rival. Imagine if we didn't have Demos? Then all Engi's would have to worry about would be Spies, and to a decent Engi they aren't a threat. All they would really have to deal with would be an occasional uber-heavy or Pyro, which only happens occasionally. Get back here so I can rub your butt. dave0293 Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 I posted a few pages back, and I finally got the game to work about a week ago. \ So far I'm horrible, but I guess I just have to play a little bit more. Right now pyro seems the easier to learn, but hopefully I'll get better at everyone. One quick question: I keep breaking my record for damage/most points etc, but it doesn't save it when I quit/disconnect. Does it only record the points you got after each game/miniround/all the time. I was bummed when I booted steam back up and found it hadn't saved 'em. On another note, besides playing more (which I hope to do this summer), does anyone have any good resources that you good link me to? Maybe I'll be good enough to play with you guys sometime... I was at my friend's house (he plays too) and the power went out. He couldn't see a thing, but I have good eyesight and could make out his silhouette. I sneaked up behind him and said "Gentlemen." He screamed and I heard a thud. When the power came back on I saw that he had grabbed a wooden plank and but it over his back :lol: Get back here so I can rub your butt.
