And for scout I use the regular scattergun. I'm a terrible [bleep]ing aim with scout so I never land both hits on the FAN anyways.

I use FaN in Arena matches, because there's a tonne more hazards you could knock someone into, and it's good in use with other people.

I know, miss with the FAN, you best start running away. I hate it when I end up missing both shots, but still get my target's attention with an empty gun and a couple of seconds before it reloads...

Yeah you have to download all the updates from steam before you can play.

I love it on maps where you can fall of of things, people jump over the gap you blast them back and down, you cant make it over you get extra jump, you sneak up behind people and blast them off.

 

Its so much fun.

@dizzle: Asking errdoth might be a good thing, I know he set an idle server on his torrent box before for TF2. :lol:

With the server thing, from what i understand you can't run a tf2 server and tf2 on the same computer. So unless you have a server quality computer lieing around the dedicated server thing is kinda useless.

Yeah I'll make a steam group and post the link here. The max players we can have is 18, and if we have less than 12 we can use my team's server ( it's a lot higher quality).

Playing no-heroes orange server: this was about halfway through the game.

 

 

 

 

The game ended with me at 495 points in second place, with a 2.8 kdr, when I disconnected. That was fun.

 

 

 

What I don't get though is why the thing that shows how many people your dominating is messed up. It almost never shows me the right amount. I don't know if it's just me, or just the server, but it always shows a lower number than the people who I'm dominating.

Not to be rude (it's a nice score) but orange maps are so [bleep]ing terrible. Like, it's so easy to get a good score on them because it seems like the people that play on those maps (and that server especially) are pretty terrible. I dunno, I played on it the other day with Errdoth for like half an hour. I was playing as engineer and half of the time I didn't even get a decent sentry spot, yet I had a pretty damn good KDR just running around with shotgun :/.

If that's representative of your normal playing, and the playing of most people here, I am screwed. I usually consider myself to be doing well if I have any sort of positive K/D. With any class.
