Also, how does one use a Sniper w/Huntsman efficiently. alot of my kills are lucky pot shots. then again my PC is a laggy thing...

Just aim in the general direction, head height, and enjoy the headshots. The huntsman hit-boxes are very forgiving.

I never use the Huntsman. I just hate how it arcs down, and I like the Sniper Rifle a lot better.

Just Drunken f00l and co. for using a script to craft an item at the instant the golden wrench becomes available.

TF2 update day = servers [bleep]ed. Lol.

Sadly I've got a bit of updating to do as I haven't played in a while.

Way to many [bleep]ing engies playing...both on offense and defense. I expect RED to win every game until this update calms down.

Has anyone got the Crafting Materials list to make the Gunslinger? I know it's make able but haven't found what to use yet.

I'm on Telstra, no problems with either caused by the modem or Telstra, only caused by Steam itself.

 

TF2 is un-updatable for me. It's not showing up in Downloads, if I right-click and click resume updating nothing happens, if I try to start it to force the update I get the whole Steam servers are currently too busy to handle your request thing. Just deleted the local content and am changing download region until I can update. For the love of god Sweden, don't be busy!

A lot of the servers I play on have either Engineer or Sniper limits. Usually two of each, IIRC.

Got all the new unlocks yesterday, didn't take as long as I thought considering the server I was on had about 8 engis per team :roll: Liking the wrangler and the frontier justice. Wrangler is pretty good for spy-checking provided you're quick enough, and also on some more open maps where a normal sentry just wouldn't reach far enough. Considering I rarely used the pistol before I think it's a good update, though there are still plenty of times where normal automatic sentries are good. The frontier justice is just epic win for offensive engis, especially if you use it with the gunslinger. Moving buildings also seems to have changed the way people play engi a lot too, lots of people now put teleports down, build things at spawn then move them. Sort of expecting a nerf at some point.

 

Unrelated, there's a simple way to get the ultra low-settings high-fps config without lots of fiddling now. Someone made an installer which contains all the necessary modifications: http://netbooknetwork.net/forums/gaming/the-tf2-ultimate-fps-pack-dev-thread/

You can get when you unlock one of the Engineer Milestone achievements, no idea which one. You can also hope to get it as a drop. If they've added Engineer Token to the game then you'll also be able to get it crafting Engineer Token + Primary Token + Scrap Metal.
