June 25, 200818 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/nort ... 472619.stm Wow... my input on the story At 11am this morning, I went to tesco (Biggest UK Supermarket branch) on my morning break for some lunch and literally EVERY trolley had bottles of water in, The isle where the water usually is, not 1 bottle to be seen. This is just amazing that noone was prepared to this, their preperation was to run down the local supermarket and grab as much water as they can. If this was a terrorist attack that effected the whole country, i dread to think what could have happened =/ Even the schools weren't prepared for it, many had to close. June 25, 200818 yr This is why I only drink the blood of my foes. Hah. :P There was that one movie that was similar to this, something got into the water and it was deadly. Fortunately, the poison in the water contaminated here isn't as serious as the one in the movie. Yet, it still is pretty scary to think about. I read the article once, and can't remember whether boiling water will get rid of the bug. But, if it does, I think the affect won't be too large on the population. Sure, it will be inconvenient. I just hope the poison is removed soon so that the people can go along living their lives normally without the fear of sickness. |Signature by Jason321|

June 25, 200818 yr No, it isn't V for Vendetta. It is bugging me now that I can't remember the movie. It starts out with this guy splashing water on his face in the morning and the faucet dripping. He goes into his living room and his friend is baked on the couch... Its a three perspective story or something like that. There is an Indian guy in it, who's family owns a grocery store. The only real problems are the people who drank the water before they heard the news, and hypochondriacs.

Someone I know nearly died from dehydration because he was drinking soda/juice and never water.
