Been at Barrows just now, and people were safespotting the melee brothers in the crpyts (by walking around the corners), which I believe has been changed in the recent graphics update. Should I use em now or could I get reported or are they actually intentional? :P

I've never known anyone get banned for using a safe spot, so I'd assume you can use it without risking getting banned. I'd advise against it though.

 

 

 

I think it's safe to say the safe spots aren't intentional, though. :P

I did it too, and Dharok got caught on it. It helps buy saving prayer pots though. Please don't report it!!!

I wouldn't have thought they were intentional. I see no problem in you using them though.

Obviously its unintended, I wouldn't use it though. Mods could come by and instant-ban anyone using it, although I doubt it. More likely we'll see a slight drop in barrows prices and an update to fix it later today\tomorrow.

Can anyone else see the tunnels? The main rooms are fine but the side tunnels and the tunnels connecting rooms are all black -.-

Change your graphic settings for viewing roofs of buildings, that's why.

I do use the safespots, I can't imagine getting blackmarks for using them as we don't know if it was an intended update or not. If you're interested in using the safespots: always walk to the northern or southern side of the grave to safespot the brother, the western and eastern side won't work.

I sure hope they fix it, barrows has been my main source of cash :|

Its fixed, the brothers will be stuck for about 2 seconds, then walk to you. Well, I got 2 items while the safespots were there \ .

Good, Barrows was already easy enough. The only time you needed safespots was when you had Dharok in the tunnels. And there were already safespots there.

See, whenever I saw a safespot like that, I assumed we were outsmarting Jagex. But now, when I think about it, it's more likely that they put it in, and we were too stupid to find it.

 

 

 

Although, the safespots in the crypts where you can shoot over the coffin will probably be removed soon, as you're not supposed to be able to shoot over them.

 

 

 

So enjoy it while it lasts. It's not bug abuse, but they don't want it there.

I heard from someone while wcing that j-mods were turning up at barrows and perm banning accounts exploiting that glitch last night (10 pm GMT) or so I heard... :?

 

not sure if it true though but seems bit harsh by jagex when other safe spots are legal (and people didn't know if it was intentional or not) so i'm guessing it probably false info :oops:
