July 11, 200817 yr Ok, My friends and I were all going to go fight the mole. I brought a pyrelord, while my friend brought a bronze minotaur. So after fighting the mole we reliezed that are farmliars would only attack unless the mole was directly attacking us. For example: When the mole was attacking my friend, his bronze minotaur was attacking it. But while i was attacking it my pyrelord was just standing their like an indiot. Then when it started to attack me after it ran away, My pyrelord was attacking it buy my friends bronze minotaur was not. Im not sure if this was a glitch? Or if it was meant to be like this? http://www.halopen.comhttp://www.paintballforum.comhttp://www.xpaintball.com
July 11, 200817 yr It is meant to be like this, the familiars are only there to aid you in combat, not do it all for you. Therefore they only help you kill the opponent if the opponent is returning hits.
July 11, 200817 yr yeah its also spelt realise.. where did you get that z from? Speak english man Hey lighten up a little, sometimes people forget how to spell words, i remember once i spelt "of" "ove" . It happens
July 11, 200817 yr yeah its also spelt realise.. where did you get that z from? Speak english man sorry if this incorrect grammar is going in your way to post useless comments. OT: it's not a glitch. thats always been the rules of summoning.

July 11, 200817 yr can we get back to the thread and stop bloody arguing... your familer will only attack if u are under attack ur self, so yea its kinda old There is no thread m8.
July 12, 200817 yr I realized that you spelt realize, "relieze" >.>. But yeah, I noticed that as well. Sucks somewhat because you can't use them as pets for ranged characters like in World of WarCraft or other games... July 12, 200817 yr Author Ok. I just didnt know if this was like a glitch or if it was intended to be like this. :D PS- I have been on a lot of forums and when you make a post about someone spelling somthing incorrect it just goes downhill from their. http://www.halopen.comhttp://www.paintballforum.comhttp://www.xpaintball.com
July 12, 200817 yr I realized that you spelt realize, "relieze" >.>. Interesting... you used the American spelling for "realize/realise" but the British spelling for "spelt/spelled". Now I'm intrigued about where you're from. :-k "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
July 12, 200817 yr This is a thread to ask a question about Summoning - not to discuss how to spell 'realize'. It's not a glitch, but it sure makes you reconsider your bringing a familiar that fights rather than one with a more consistant and useful effect.
July 12, 200817 yr yeah its also spelt realise.. where did you get that z from? Yeah I had just died over 20 times in a game of COD4 on xbl as i wrote that lol. Sorry author Yes lets just say its "American spellings" because he misspelled it. What does that even have to do with America that is not how we spell it...
July 12, 200817 yr This is what some special abilities are for. You know the scrolls that "send your familiar to attack the enemy"? Presumably they'll work even if you aren;t under attack. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
July 12, 200817 yr yeah its also spelt realise.. where did you get that z from? Speak english man 172,000,000 google results for "realize" 72,600,000 results for "realise" i thought it was realize >_>

July 12, 200817 yr Grammar nazis out on parade today, must be rally nearby -.- OT: ye its how summoning was meant to be, makes the skill alot less useful imo, maybe more familiars should attack monsters that are not attacking you anyway (if they were higher level than you or something, guess that its another dsicussion though) Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
July 12, 200817 yr Uhhh, sorry for being like that. I was slightly intoxicated and I'd had a long day. Forgive me and let it drop? Familiars will also attack back if they are attacked, my terrorbird often gets into 1 on 1 fights with minions at sara gw. I think that the attacking familiars (Minotaurs etc) should attack whatever you are attacking however, no matter if you are under attack or not.
July 12, 200817 yr It's the way summoning was meant to be...But it still gets really annoying when I'm trying to use my steel titan at the kbd :wall: 621st person to achieve 99 slayer on December 3rd, 2007177th person to 99 summoning on June 21st, 2008
July 12, 200817 yr As everyone has already said, it's supposed to be that way, so I can't really add anything to this thread. However: Realize Realise Both are correct. One is an American spelling, and one is a European spelling, I believe.
