Good Luck! I have learned my lesson from other players not to give up your account. Because for some wierd reason people come back and decides to play again but cannot get on to their old account with awesome stats and have to start with a new account. For me I reserved the names lem(2*n) in case I decided to come back and want the lem names again. Hopefully with mechscape I can start with a better name like one without numbers. -.-

I recently returned to RS last xmas too and while I had to start from scratch regarding my bank I still had my stats to get be back on my feet ^_^

Welcome back man, I too came back to RS a week or 2 ago from 2 years of not playing, didn't start a new character went to back my old one but it's still fun to see all the things that changed, have fun with your new guy! \

Although I have not had to start from scratch, I have started a new account which I intend to train on F2P, since My main account was originally going to be a F2Per. It's called *Drum roll* Pking_Failz Made it a few days ago :D

I have been playing for 5 years (since 2003)

 

 

 

My very first account was Mr_lonely300, i still remember when i got on him and i was walking to the varrock magic rune shop and a guy traded me, and gave me like 800k gold and told me to become a member. I spent all of that gold on crap the second i became member (i think a bought a spear for like 100k rofl) After a while i got more game saavi and a big thing back then was merchanting so i got some ess sold it and started merchanting cow hides. A year later, i made about 170m from cow hides(amazing right? not when you were getting like 100k every week to merchant lol.) back then it wasint much to spend 170m on so i kept it all. i started to learn a bit about pking, i got interested and made another account.

 

 

 

Tasty_Ballz(banned now for no reason and no appeal) He was going to be a dragon pure, 1 def 99 str. Turns out after a few times pking i ended up with like 6 def so i get 20 def to save time lol, after a hella long time of doing nothing on the account in about 2006 I turned him into a whiper and he became notorious for dds'ing then dharoking right after ( got a hit put on me like everyday lol) and i finally retired him after a big loss in a stake.

 

 

 

I made a twin pure with my brother a week after retirement. We had competition on who would get 99 str first with 20 attk (neither of us ever did lol) I got to about 86 str 20 attk and he is still 82 str 20 attk (neox jr is is name) mine was banned for no reason with no appeal.

 

Soon after getting 86 str i completely quit the game because i had lost a mask set from a hacker.

 

 

 

2 years go by and about 4 months, my brother moves out and im hella bored, i start to think about all my good times on runescape and wondering how mr_lonely300, tasty_ballz and tasty__ballz are doing and if they even exist anymore. so i go to runescapes main website and try to log in runescape on Tasty_ballz thinking i would log into some 3d game with a sky, moon, stars, sun, and a vast land of happiness. But no. I could not even log in, i checked everything to see what was the problem and found i had been banned two months after i quit the game for no apparent reason; i wasint even playing any of the accounts so i should not have have been banned. Lastly I attempt to log into my main account Mr_lonely300, it works and i am truly joyful until i find these things out, trade restrictions, and no more wildy...That highly aggrivates me yet i do nothing but fish, one day after re-joining runescape i log on and try to say something, but i cant because i am muted...Why you might ask? Because of this...I was fishing at the guild and these guys were complaining about gwd and ags price and I told them "you are all a bunch of Naggers" that is what jagex muted me for 15 days for. Calling someone a nagger...And the word wasint even blocked. So what do i do?

 

 

 

I made a new account thinking I will make a zerker pure(the account i use now) and I log on and get a month membership and start to mine pure ess, all in total i mined 130k pure ess and got 65 mining and i was only lvl 3 i did not bot nor use power lvling, I have too much pride for that.

 

I sold all of it and got a whoping 19m gold. I was so proud, about 2 days after selling my ess. I get home from working 8 hours after school and try to log on, yet i cant, because i am banned...

 

I appealed, saying "i am a hard worker and i do my work whell why did you ban me for working hard." yet i get a automated message explaining why i was banned really not telling me anything but read the rules...(back in my day when you were banned or muted, A REAL GAME MODERATOR would give you a personally message explaining what happened and read your appeal personally.

 

 

 

So i was muted on my main for 15 days for saying a word that describes annoying people and I was banned on my new account for making money too good. for 8 days i waited, after that i never touched a pure ess again, i still have my 19m and its been about 1 month 13 days since i made this new account.

I have my own little story(s) aswell.

 

 

 

First player, made him in early janurary 2001. Over level 100 rsc, played rs2 for quite some time, then was banned.

 

 

 

Next player, played rs2 and rsc with, had four level 99's (range, cook, fish, fletch and quest cape)

 

banned in november last year 1850+ total

 

 

 

 

Current player, made player in 2001 but never used currently up to 1535 total only playing for 9 months, with a two month break.

Well, back in RSC, I had Brando.

 

 

 

At the time I had leveled to 100 combat, was a pretty decent merchant (Started a merchant clan with a few high rank smithers back when r2h's were down to 700k, and pm'd them back up to nearly 1m a piece for about a week... good times)

 

 

 

I got bored of the game around the release of rs2, and decided to quit, leaving my account (with stats at 113 combat by rs2's release, along with.. god only knows how much money. Party hats werent as expensive then, and were just nice to have.. By todays prices dear lord... Almost makes me want to cry at how poor I currently am with a 34 mil net worth :wall: )

 

 

 

Started brando13a, it is what it is, nothing too special. Tried my hand at merchanting rs2 for a while, I cant remember a specific date, but I remember purchasing a red h'mask for about 500k (and promptly dieing and loosing it).

 

 

 

Brando was banned, brando13a is basically retired. all in all, rs was a good run, but all I have much taste for is forums and some people i've gotten to know through it.

i don't mean to dismay you but people who start from scratch usually give up after their first month or so. i see this in forums a lot so please don't ever give up! :thumbsup:

My old account, mr_moocky, was created sometime in 2004 or 2005, and I did lots of wandering, talking, and nothing, so levels were slow, but I was enjoying myself. After doing some stupid things I lost my whip + rune boots obby cape glory and some other items, worth 7m at the time. I had little money, but I had figured out an easy way to increase cash; buy runes cheap in the port sarim rune shop, world hop, and repeat (this was before the ?1 minute? world change time). I was using an ADD ON called swift-switch WHICH WAS LEGAL AT THE TIME but got p-muted for autoing. Someone put in an offer for some runes on a thread on the forums, but it was a player mod (was this suppose to be some kind of 'bust'?) and when I pmed him he muted me, without even telling me I was muted, which really confused me untill I checked my mesages. My appeal was dennied. I took a year break and came back on June 9th 2008 and made a new account, now I am level 100 with ~20 worth of items and an addiction to killing stuff in mini games. (655 fog tokens gained today, and I had school :ohnoes: ). My advice: Do what you WANT to do, not what you 'should' be doing to be efficient; this is a game, have fun!

I haven't played long enough to remember you, I don't think. I only played classic for about 2 months before rs2 came out. But regardless, feel free to add me, I enjoy making new friends.

 

 

 

This is actually my third or so account that I had "started over". It actually started out as a pure until I gave up on my "main" and this became my number 1 priority, and now is no longer pure. :lol:
