September 30, 201015 yr Girl who sits across from me in my englishseminar keeps giving me looks. well, more like we catch each other staring at each other. Can I get a pep talk? my morale has been excruciatingly low recently. Obvious situation is obvious, I just need someone to give me a nice slap in the face as motivation to put my neck on the line. So she won't look at you anymore. Big whoop. Try it out, talk to her, see if you can connect. You're bound to have something in common. Go get 'em tiger. ;)
September 30, 201015 yr Just go for it. Do as Bows said. All else fails, hey, she's missing out, right? Although I do find myself having one issue. I can't seem to find ANY girls that are single. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I enjoy the company (and the hugs :D) but I just unfortunately can't find a girl that's single. And there was a post I made a bit earlier. I'm pretty sure most people who suddenly get the hang of it are older than you, Niflheim. All hope is not lost (in fact, most of it remains)! Dude, I'm 18. I've never had a girlfriend. I'm getting outdone by 15-16 year olds. This should not be happening. I'm not willing to give up until I end up biting the dust. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

I'm getting outdone by 15-16 year olds. This should not be happening. I'm not willing to give up until I end up biting the dust. let's exchange pep talks for a second. Every girl that is in a relationship right now will inevitably be single in a certain amount of time. But there's little control you have over that, because timing in relationship building is based heavily on luck. Now let's talk about your age. So what if you're 18? Don't think of it as being out done by 15 year olds, think of it as being more mature and conservative in your youth. They're making lots of mistakes, but just because you didn't doesn't mean you can't learn. A buddy of mine is a little over 17 years old now. He's had a girlfriend for almost 2 years now, and only last month did they kiss. Trust me, one lucky horn dog 15 year old shouldn't get you down. And if you don't like that example, take flyingjj [he's around this thread somewhere]. He's in his twenties and only just recently kissed a girl for the first time [or was it dated a girl? now i dont remember]. POINT IS, age is only a number. Maturity is what is truly valued. True, finding single girls that aren't single for a major reason [as they all seem to be] is extremely difficult, but if it weren't...then it wouldn't be nearly as fun to find the right girl, right? Life made this task so difficult so we can truly appreciate it when things fall into place. And Omar speaks the truth, at 18, you're still the peak of your top physical form. You're going to be young for quite some time, so go out and enjoy it. Live large, make mistakes, and over all have fun. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. October 1, 201015 yr Damn I could sure use a pep talk too... [ - and also I feel like I'm a mood swing-y person, I only post up in this thread in instances of extreme happiness or issues. i promise, i'm at least that stable - ] I've been in a relationship for almost a few months now, but it's been starting to get shaky lately and I really don't like that... I don't know if it's me, or if she's uncomfortable with me, or she's having second thoughts, or she is just pity-dating me (I can assure you, underneath this finally shiny exterior is a [cabbage] load of insecurities, and they're coming back). I'm pretty sure if I was just in state (does anyone here use that?) or basically feeling really confident and happy I could fix things just like that... but my past insecurities are getting the best of me. Please help. =/

October 2, 201015 yr So... it's Friday, wondering how's Lent's date is going hehe. I'm thinking he's bored out of his mind. Yes, I know I sound like a stalker.
October 2, 201015 yr Well, this should be interesting. I have a date coming up with a girl i've never met. My best friend's girl set me up with her and we're doing a double date. I haven't seen a picture of her, all I know is her name and that shes my age, but I trust my friend enough to not set me up with an "ugly girl" for lack of a more pleasant term. This will be my first date since my really bad breakup back in June, i'm not sure how i'll feel about it, but hopefully it won't be awkward, and it should be fun. Tumblr. Follow me!

October 2, 201015 yr RPG, I'm pretty sure I read that in the voice you desired... I appreciate. I'll get things together sometime soon.
October 2, 201015 yr I've been lurking, but I heard my name across the interwebs and now answer the call, if a little late. As RPG stated up the page, I am in my 20s (just recently 21), and I have never actually kissed a girl. I dated for the first time when I was 19, but we never kissed, as both of us took it as a very serious matter, even if most people don't. Heck, I'm not sure I even like the idea of kissing. I'm more of a hugging kind of guy. More body contact that way. :P Speaking of girls setting you up with another girl, I've convinced myself that by surrounding myself with female friends (of which I have many; actually a great deal many more than male friends) I am actually setting myself up with greater access to the world of women and hence increase my chances that one of my womenfolk friends with meet/know someone who is perfect for me and will set me up. At least that's what I tell myself. :P Actually, I've been taking a lot of comfort in the company of one of my female friends a lot lately. We actually subletted a house together the entire summer and saw more of each other than literally any other person all summer. And even though college has started back up, that relationship has continued. While it's not a romantic relationship (I know she isn't attracted to me, though I did think she was once and posted about it here like 5 months ago), I'm fine with that. She has basically become my best friend, and I've found that I really don't need any more at the moment, even if I am still looking for someone to date.
October 2, 201015 yr I think I just discovered that I have a fetish with sexual rejection. Yeah, not tension...rejection. This is the weirdest sensation in the world. I feel like my mind was blown. But you know that puch pull thing that IamDan was talking about a few hundred pages ago? [where he said its fun to get a good "drumroll" going for sexual tension, the whole nine yards, and then suddenly stop and flick on the lights]. It's sort of like that. It's the sudden STOP that drives me wild. I have no words for what I feel right now. It's just so...weird... Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. October 2, 201015 yr I have no words for what I feel right now. It's just so...weird... Yes, usually you'll get that when your parents/room mates walk in on you, flick on the lights and see you "slapping the monkey"... Popoto.~<3
October 2, 201015 yr Went on my first real "date" last night. We both had a good time. It was comfortable, the girl was easy to talk to, and the physical attraction was definitely there. :) 99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010

October 2, 201015 yr Is it good or bad when a girl says "Well I'd rather we go to know eachother before anything really happens :)" It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?
October 2, 201015 yr I think she wants to get to know you... 99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010
October 2, 201015 yr Is it good or bad when a girl says "Well I'd rather we go to know eachother before anything really happens :)" I'm not into you at the moment.
October 2, 201015 yr I guess it's left up to interpretation. We have known eachother for a week and seen eachother only twice, and we've been flirting quite a bit. But ever since I've asked for a date, she said that, and now she's smiling after EVERY sentence. Well she wants to go out with friends with me first, then she says she'll see what happens from there. It's a REALLY big shaft.I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?
October 2, 201015 yr Is it good or bad when a girl says "Well I'd rather we go to know eachother before anything really happens :)"Good - there's potential. You said you've seen each other only twice... If that were me, I wouldn't want to jump into anything either. So far she probably likes you, but really doesn't know all that much about you. Before anything takes off, she wants to know more about who you are. Right now she only knows a bit about your behavior and how you look (and she probably likes those two things), but not so much who you are as a person. Be patient, hang out with her more, do a lot of talking so she can get to know you, and see what happens from there. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
