so i went to a haloween party and a girl who i had on facebook for about a week or two (but neever really talked to) was there. shes fairly attractive, and single.

the next morning she sent me a FB-IM, saying she didnt recognise me under the mask at first etc etc, we started to joke around and talk abit. after a while she asked if i wasgoing to schoolies (after school celebration for grade 12s in aus east coast), i said no, but she invited me to go with her+her friends for a day.

i asked her to a movie and she said yes, but i didnt say it asthough it was a date, but im not sure if shes more likely to see it as a friends thing or just us on a date

 

from what ive said, IOIs and such, is she likely to see it as a date or not

This, you're not using her simply because you refused to tell them how many times you've had sex with her. Really you what you've done is the opposite, if you said xyz amount of times and then expanded that could be seen as using her.

Just because you want to keep certain things about your relationship private doesn't mean you're using your girlfriend.

The friend is trying to worm this juicy gossip out of you using guilt trips. Just ignore it, people who try to spread secrets are not worth telling the secrets to in the first place.

A little update on mine.

 

She did get extremely drunk at the other college, but made it back reasonably fine. Then she went out again the next night, but didn't drink. We hung out a bit after she got back, but I didn't bring up what was on my mind because it was 3AM. That and Mean Girls was on.

 

It's just weird. All of the time that we knew each other up until last weekend, she didn't party a lot, but this past weekend she went out for round two. It's really making me question whether or not I can keep up with her. I don't party very often at all. Hell, I hardly drink.

 

I'm really hoping that she just caught the Halloween spirit and she'll settle down a bit. If not, I doubt we'll go anywhere.

I don't party much either, but I still enjoy it a lot. I'm not truly shy, but I'm an introvert. I need my time alone. Maybe she's the same, and she'll get crunk every month or two, and stick with one close friend the rest of the month.

I asked her maybe 2 weeks ago, but because I'm [developmentally delayed]ed I didn't get her number at first and due to class cancellations/her not being in class I didn't manage to get it until Tuesday. She was still very much onboard with it though, and she suggested we get dinner sometime beforehand. We haven't been able to because I can't do dinner Tuesdays-Thursdays but maybe today. The point is, though, she said dinner. I'd seen somewhere, possibly here and possibly some stupid romantic-comedy movie that "lunch" is friend-zone territory but "dinner" is the opposite. Is this a generally accepted thing? Is that at all promising? There's a football game tonight and cadets can bring civilians after the first half, so if she's going I might invite her to sit there. Not quite dinner, but if she gets a turkey leg it's kind of the same thing.

 

I know "date" and "girlfriend" are entirely separate entities but if I can grow one from the other that'd be pretty good, I should think.
