I just choked so hard. Everything I've ever fantasized had potential tonight. And I didn't do SHIT. I am so disappointed in myself. I'd like to say I'll do better next time, but how often do you run into a girl you have had a major crush on all semester at a bar after she gets back from a comedy/sex show? Somehow, somewhen in the last month I've started talking with girls more than with boys. One reason might be because I got to know quite a few of them. Pretty unexpectedly, from random places.

I also got invited to the senior year prom in my former high school as a date for a senior. Still don't know if I should go, I don't really like the girl, we just get along and sing in the same choir.

 

At the same time, some girl from my Norwegian course had been asking about me. Not a very pretty one either.

 

Then, a girl from my Skiing course started talking and flirting with me. She had a boyfriend and they are still together and I am afraid to separate them. Girl has told me she thinks I am a very handsome dude.

 

A girl that I have seen 3 times in my life invited me to her birthday with 15 other strangers to overnight in the other side of the country.

How bout some real life stuff now? Ive been talking to this girl I had a class with last semester. My desire to bring my "A game" and my unwillingness to settle for anything makes my encounters with her come with a grain of awkwardness. But that's partially just making excuses. Im typing on my phone so im going to skip a lot of details, but long story short I got drunk as hell Saturday night and in my apology for drunk texting, got a tentative date with her "when the weather turns nice". Not remotely definite. Not definitely definite. But anyhow, today was spectacular weather, but alas i was locked in class all day, and had plans for the night already. But then she posts on facebook today about coming home from a date to find X package at her door. Not sure if this is a subtle way of telling me to back off and I should or if this is grounds for me to feel in competition with amd thus go full on "A game" and cut out the awkward shit between us. But I feel strange, because I desire nothing more than casual dating, yet am incapable of feeling nothing when faced with adversary; that is to say I'm both a tad jealous and simultaneously furious at my own short comings.

Im not really sure how I should phrase the question that is laced somewhere in that post.

 

NOTE: this "date" was her idea, but not phrased as such. More of a "im new to the area, and you know what youre talking about, you should show me around" kinda thing. But am I really wrong to assume her willingness to walk around the historic part of my town on a warm spring day with me, all day with me is a sign of interest? Especially when shes expressed how lonely she feels in the spring when all the "cute couples" do fun shit together?

So.. I [bleep]ed up. There's a girl I go to university with that I've been pursuing for about a month now. She got out of a 3 year relationship a month ago but her and the ex definitely still have feelings for each other. They are from the same town, but broke up because he goes to a different school and they don't want to go through 4 years of long distance. 

 

My roommate went home for the weekend, so I invited her over to have some drinks and watch a movie. Feelings come out, and eventually we end up messing around. During this, I say her name to ask her if she wants to stay the night.. Only I say my ex girlfriend's name. She hears this and is totally offended. We are both pretty drunk, but not hammered.. She leaves, and I let her without resistance.

 

This morning, I get a text informing me how much of a rarity it was for her to "let her guard down" like that. I go over to her place and apologize, and she tells me she doesn't regret what happened, but unfortunately that she wasn't "ready" for something like that. Essentially, she's now completely questioning if her and I could ever have a thing, which is stupid. 

 

My plan of action is to just give her space for a few days.. This blows, but I messed up, and it is what it is.

Basically all of my girlfriends became "babe" after we kissed the first time. I had a long conversation with my friend once that pet names are like a kind of branding to show "ownership" of a partner. Any girl I just hook up with is "girl". Rarely do I address females by their name ibe noticed, outside of friends that is.

Something I noticed a few years back is that I never call people by their names, regardless of what our relationship status is (friends/significant other/acquaintance). I really only use names to draw in their attention if I don't already have it.

 

 

 

Come to think of it, that might be why I'm really bad at remembering people's names. You can introduce someone to me, and 30 seconds later I have no clue what their name is.

i accidentally called my teacher mum once during like 4th grade, so i had to start calling everyone i met after that mum so my classmates would just think i call everyone that, and not that i called my teacher mum accidentally. it occasionally makes things a bit awkward, but i think it was worth not getting made fun of.

So yesterday me and my girlfriend were talking on the phone. I mentioned to her that i was excited for the new Game of Thrones season to start. "Sometimes it's like watching porn with an actual story line". This sparked a conversation about porn. She started asking me about what kind of porn i was into, etc. Now, to be quite honest, i don't really watch porn all that much. Obviously there's no use telling a girl this because most of them assume that guys spend their entire day browsing porn. But fact is, for the past 2 years i haven't been watching a lot of porn. I don't know if this is because my sex life has been better than it used to be, or if it's just a result of my day life. I study a lot and when i'm either too tired to move, or i just have a severe headache. Me and my girlfriend are also pretty active, in my opinion anyway.
But yeah, i told her that i'm not really an "active porn watcher" so i don't think i really have much of a preference. I don't have any fetishes, or anything like that. She asked me if i would find it weird if we watched porn together. She told me that she had never watched porn before. I'm not sure if i want to believe this or not, but i doubt she would have any reason to lie to me about it. I went on to tell her that i didn't think she would actually enjoy porn (based on things i know about her). Nevertheless i gave her 2 links to 2 videos and told her to watch them and told me how she felt about it. She watched them, and gave me her opinion on it. Then she told me that she wanted to see me (this was at around 11pm). 

 

Anyway, that's not the point of the story. My question is this: Is it good or bad? I've always felt like porn is the one thing that will always be "my little secret" simply because a girl wouldn't really want to watch it with me. I understand they are human just like men, but i always assumed that it did nothing for them. Perhaps i am naive. 

Should i see this as a good thing? Should i jump at the opportunity to watch porn with her? Obviously i'm not saying it's going to become the only thing we ever watch, but i'm sure she's going to want to do it in the near future.

I think it's good. It could be a type of foreplay or inspire new ideas. Who knows.

Girls dig porn. Some girls. And its not a big deal if they don't. I personally don't like porn in the traditional sense. The parody porns I watch for fun, the sex is just sex to me. If I'm looking at porn for conventional uses, I mostly just go to tumblr porn blogs for gifs/stories. I find them much more arousing. 

I think people believe women can't enjoy porn because most porn is aimed at a male audience, and most scenes are pretty unemotional/mechanical. In other words, they appeal to men but not to women. Google James Deen to see the kind of porn/sex that women fantasize about. Women are obsessed with him lol
