Who ordered the sony fanboy =/. Its true that Gears 2 is basically gonna be the first with some improvements like new online modes, but isn't that pretty much what any good sequal is?

 

 

 

Gears 2 IMO is what gears should have been like originally. Better netcode and non-random shotgun, more balanced weapons, stylized executions, more game modes (even though horde and guardian seem to ripped straight from RSV2).

 

 

 

The best thing is that they're keeping the core gameplay the same and not drastically changing anything, like the change from Halo 1 to Halo 2 to Halo 3.

 

As someone said before, sequels should be like that in general. Balanced a bit more, graphically better, but not a large lurning curve between the two.

 

Hope that Fable 2 doesn't end up here though.

The whole dog thing has me worried with fable 2. Fable 1 was too short, even with the expansion, for me at least.

 

 

 

People are gonna hate me for this, but oblivion disappointed me merely because of the moddability of it versus morrowind. Morrowind was much easier to mod, and there are many more mods for it. I currently have about 12gb of morrowind mods, and only a few hundred megabytes of oblivion mods.

I've already played Metal Gear 4. Great gameplay, makes me want to do it over and over again.

 

AS for Gears of War 2, don't go hating a game you haven't even played Jbl.

You obviously speak english to some extent seen as you know where to substitute letters for net speak. If you couldnt speak english properly you'd just speak normal english with some mistakes.

 

 

 

Veiwing a certain game as better than another does not make you a fanboy. What makes you a fanboy is how you claim that one game that you have not played is better than another game you have not played. :lol:

It was definitely more kiddish, but there was tons of extra material on there that Dark Cloud 1 didn't have. I personally liked the game play of the second one more. The only beef I really had was with the stupid fish. :uhh:

twisted metal 1,2,3 were the best games I've played on the PS1. and then IV comes along.... huge pile of crap. then they made like a kid brawl or some [cabbage] like that

^Yeah it really died after number 3 but the PSP version is actually quite good.

 

 

 

Dark cloud 2/Dark chronicle wasn't that bad, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, It's not as good as the first one but it's not bad.

Indeed the controls are hard/different but you get but after some hard-core gaming hours you get used to it ;).

I'd say that GH3 was a huge let down for me. They made the gameplay easier, the set list on GH2 was way better, the characters look like crap (All three singers!) and only good things were online and co-op career. For being easier, the timing window for when you can play a note is way bigger, especially for hammer-ons (Actually, the only way to miss a hammer-on in GH3 is to play it too late or the wrong note; apparently there is no such thing as too early). This is versus GH2, where the timing actually feels realistic.

 

 

 

I just hate GH3 for certain things. I still play it because it IS easier, but I just don't like having to play hard. Oh, and don't try to say that Rock Band was even easier. It just had an easy set list, the timing is almost the exact same as GH2.

 

 

 

P.S. The only reason it is possible for so many people to get past the beginning of TTFAF is because the timing sucks. Mod your PS2 and play a modded TTFAF on GH2, and you will probably fail instantly.

 

 

 

Note: I think it is obvious that English isn't JBL's first language. I still think he should be able to type better, or atleast without the 1337speak. Stop flaming him already, but you should try to shape up you English JBL.

Yes, Guitar Hero 3's set list was harder, but that was off-set by the easier gameplay. I also just like the songs on GH2 more because they are thrash-ier, and I'm more into punk. And maybe I was exaggerating when I said GH3 was a huge letdown. I am disappointed in the way they made it easier and some of the songs they chose to add.

 

 

 

It is only the DLC that is hard for Rock Band. High Tides and Green Grass was challenging though. Speaking of Rock Band's DLC, I love how much they are pumping out. To me it just means a greater chance of getting really good songs to play. It also means that when I finally decide to buy some of it, I will be scrolling through hundreds of items.

Super Mario Bros 2. Totally different from the first one and it was horribly done the first time around. The second time they fixed it for the GBA, but it still is not that fun of a game.

Stronghold 2. Probably the worst sequel i've played.

GTA4 was nothing compared to the earlier ones.
