ya whateva man mma fake it all about wwe

Dude, I hope that was sarcasm.

Don't get me wrong, Im a HUGE WWE fan and I do not watch MMA but MMA is more legit in terms of fighting than the WWE.

Edit: MMA is Mixed Martial Arts, not wrestling only.

Beat me to it pyro. Was about to report it after I posted >.<

Please speak english, it's kind of hard to understand your typing.

And just to be on topic, I do not watch MMA or any type of wrestling for that matter. I don't see the entertainment in it.

You should be banned from making threads..

But no, I'm not into it. I've never really gotten why so many people watch wrestling (or Mixed Martial Arts.. whatever). It's never appealed to me.

I agree on both points. Never really seen why people enjoy it.

For one, the WWE is entertainment. Thats where the wrestling comes in for those who want to see wrestling and the storylines come in to entertain. Its hard to explain but you get a satisfied feeling after watching certain things happen.

As for MMA, Im not entirely sure. Im not fan of watching 2 fighters beating each other up in 1 min and the fight just ends there, no storyline whatsoever.

Personally,I don't watch it as a series,I go to a lot of underground fighting though (gang fights, actually  ) and its not really the storyline I go for,its just the style.Damn this guy did a scorpion-like lash with his leg.He hit a guy in the crotch on the way up,broke his target's shoulder on the way down and managed to dislocate his own leg.The only time I've seen such carnage was when Abyss fought that guy's step son on TNA.But I didn't watch anything else, just wanted to see 2 monsters in the ring  .

BTW,ugh Star World doesn't show WWE #-o

Wasn't Project OT supposed to clean up bad threads like this?...

However, as it has evolved into a suitable discussion, I'll just add that I really have never been a fan of any kind of wrestling/fighting. I like sports that take team skill and more than just brute force. Even football's okay, but I'm a hockey player/soccer player at heart.

Jesse Taylor the first-ever finalist from The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) to be kicked out of the house before the Finale is perhaps in jeopardy of losing his job with the UFC once again, according to Steve Cofield.

Mr. Sunshine has the scoop, saying the Taylor has irked management with some disparaging remarks directed toward former light heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson in the wake of his recent troubles.

Taylor had this to say last Thursday on the situation:

What goes around, comes around, I guess.

He apparently made that remark after he caught wind that Jackson had told UFC President Dana White that the company doesnt need a guy like Taylor representing it. Thats because Taylor was booted from the 16-main tournament-style competition after he went on a drunken rampage (no pun intended) in a Fertitta-owned casino after the show wrapped.

Taylor then approached White at the Finale last month and pleaded his case, saying he had cleaned up his act and was ready for a second chance. White was convinced and offered him an opportunity to return against CB Dollaway at UFC Fight Night 14 this past weekend.

He lost via first round submission.

According to the report, Taylor has since backpedaled on his Rampage remarks and feels bad about what he said. However, it may be too little too late.

Heres a snip from Cofield:

Taylor clearly felt badly about what he said on Thursday especially considering that hed just found out that Jackson was hospitalized for mental evaluation. From the tone of the UFC official who spoke with Yahoo! Sports at the event, the apology may not matter. The lesson here may be to make sure you choose your targets carefully. Jackson is tight with UFC higher-ups and is the last guy any fighters on the roster should be cracking on right now.

It doesnt seem good for Taylor if this report is indeed accurate. Stay tuned for more details.

hey wat ur guy opinoin on this

I agree with both of you, (Maybe not Dragoonson) WWE is entertainment and wrestling kept to a minimum. Sure, you dont have hardcore matches like in the old ECW or real fights like in UFC, but the company that produces wrestling + entertainment is called the WWE. Like Vince said, "Why would there be competition if both are in different categories?"

Ok. Here is MLB's rundown on all the Wrestling related shows I have watched

1. WWE

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wwe

WWE used to be good. It has gone to the dogs ever since like 07. All the titles usually goto either one of the 4 wrestlers: John Cena, The Undertaker, Batista, Edge. It has become so predictable.

2. UFC

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ufc

I never really got into this, so my opinions aren't as strong on this one. In UFC, the upside is that you cannot predict who will win a title unless it's a Heavyweight vs. a Lightweight for example. The thing that I don't like about this is that it is too real, I mean can't they try to keep the groping to a minimum?

3. TNA

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Nons ... _Wrestling

This one is my presonaly favorite. It can be seen on [bleep]e on Thursday nights from 9-11PM. What I like about this is that 96% fanbase is full or true fans (In my opinion). The only wrestler that is the "John Cena" of TNA would probaly have to be Samoa Joe. about 50% of the matches are predictable, vs the 85% in WWE. The only thing that I don't like about this is, all the good matches are always at a PPV, not many title matches on the actual 9-11 show.

He has a point actually, the champions now are indeed CM Punk and Triple H. Its been getting better recently, although the Great American Bash sucked.
