February 24, 20197 yr I went to one of my favorite bars last night and as I was walking in, a like 70 year old lady in a wheelchair came rolling out. I should've paid attention to that red flag cuz there was literally no one under 60 inside, so I straight up just turned around and walked out. It was trippy as hell, usually it's a pretty college-y crowd thereShould've shouted "Don't drink and wheelchair!!" after her. On another note, there must be a better way to build a dialogue tree than hacking it together in JSON... "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." February 24, 20197 yr If it's actually a tree, JSON or YAML would work fine. Realistically dialogue trees are graphs though so you'll probably need to research graph storage formats
February 25, 20197 yr It's a directed graph format, technically so 1 -> 2 -> 3 or 4, and so on. Each node has a well-defined output of one or more nodes. I can do it just fine in my spreadsheet and convert over, but if I want to add say a node between 1 and 2 all the numbering looks crazy, even it will function fine in the end. February 25, 20197 yr Yeah you definitely want to ditch JSON then. Look up some graph formats or roll your own. Most are based on JSON or XML anyway so they should be pretty straightforward. & it might help to use more semantic IDs instead of indexes so that you don't need to renumber each time you make a change

February 25, 20197 yr Orlando was a blast! The Rip Ride Rockit is one of the best rollercoasters I've ever been on. We went on it three times. The Hulk was awesome like I remembered--we went on that one twice (first ride we went on, and second-to-last; we went on the Rip Ride Rockit one more time after, haha). The Harry Potter sections were amazing! I finally got the tie I've been wanting for over a year now. (Gryffindor reppin'). When I posing for a picture in front of Poseidon's Fury a cute girl said I was looking good which was so nice :). IT'S THE BEARD. Was so nice to see my grandparents (father's side) again. Last time I saw them I was in the 4th grade. Been a very long time. They live in Lake Placid, about two and a half hours south of Orlando. Was 15 years since I was last in Florida. Now I'll be going again in March. It's amazing how much things have improved in just the span of a year. We were supposed to go in December but that didn't pan out between our jobs, but better late than never :). We're so gonna go again, haha. Also I think these two are really great pictures: [hide] [/hide] I love my brother for putting up with me, lol. I so wanted to have the train in the pictures. The Rip Ride Rockit picture (second one) was hard to get... If I make a Tinder again I'm gonna use that first one...
