I've blocked Black Demons, Greater Demons, Hellhounds & Kalphites. In addition to blocking, I haven't completed 'The Path of The Glouphrie' Quest, so no Warped Terrorbirds or Tortoises either.

 

 

 

From the KB I should therefore be able to receive the following tasks from Duradel:-

 

 

 

Aberrant spectres, Bloodvelds, Dagannoths, Dark beasts, Dust devils, Fire giants, Gargoyles, Goraks, Mithril dragons, Nechryael, Scabarite minions, Skeletal wyverns, Spiritual mages, Suqahs, Waterfiends.

 

 

 

I'm happy to keep killing Dragons in the hope of getting a Visage, but in my opinion, the whole point of Slayer was to get a bit of variety in 'monster killing'.

 

 

 

Has anyone else experienced the same 'problem' with Duradel tasks?

 

 

 

Should I switch to Sumona for a couple of tasks to try & break the run & then go back to Duradel - I'd quite like a couple of Spiritual Mage or Dark Beast tasks!!

 

 

 

Additionally, my signature hasn't changed since I got 90 Slayer - it normally changes itself, do I have to do something to it?

I've noticed this too.

Well I do get a fair variety of tasks, but Mithrils and Wyverns are "rarer" than others so they won't come often I think.

It's good when you get multiple tasks that you LIKE!

 

 

 

Having about 600 Waterfiends in a row is ftw.

tbh, black demons and dragons would have been my blocked.

 

 

 

 

 

And, I actually enjoy greaters for some reason. But yes, i get abby demons alot from him. Mostly only abby demons.

I plan on blocking Irons, Steels, Miths, Black Drags. I also haven't done the Eyes of Glouphrie Quest so it's all good. I have no idea why you'd block Kalphites and Greaters, they're 2 of my favourite tasks lol

Theyre always crowded, until I come along with my lovely cannon :twisted:

I find Duradel just goes through phases of certain tasks lol, for example, for about 2 or 3 days every other task I got was Abby Specs, but I've had them fairly evenly since. It's just a bit of bad luck lol.

Let people block what they want, you can't dictate what people find fun or not. I blocked Kalphites because they are always busy and I don't use a cannon, boo-hoo how badly it affects you.

You should switch to Sumona for a few tasks.

I've had 85 slayer for a (short) while, and I have yet to get even one Abbysal Demon task. :( But yeah all the repetitive tasks aren't so fun. I'd say switch to Sumona for a bit to see how she is. I use her, and it's not so bad. I seem to get quite a few Blue Dragon tasks however. :P I don't mind though. The craft and prayer exp that comes with them is great. :D

If I could have nothing but wyverns, I really wouldn't mind that much. I killed over 2500 just for fun, and would like to do more but I feel like I need to earn slayer exp too so I have to wait for tasks =(

Agreed. I don't get Irons or Steels much, but once I get one task of greaters or black dragons, it takes about 3 more tasks to get a different monster. :roll:

I use vannaka because cheddar hates me, when I was around level she gave me Hellhounds, Iron Dragons and trolls ( I hate trolls btw). My friend finally comvinced me to get a cheddar task again. 89 trolls -.- . I finish it, 65 trolls, cancel, 111 trolls, cacel and back to the bald dude with a shield and a 2h sword.

Lol I don't know why you guys block eyes of glouphrie - probably my favorite slayer task are warped tortoises!

 

 

 

They are super fast- AWESOME exp - multicombat and non agressive (aka summoning familiars help out!) and litterally 10 steps away from the GE bank! (there's a spirit tree in GE that goes to the sewers!) + they drop turtle shells which can be sold for a lot or used for summoning!
