loaf of bread

Featured Replies

My mum always throws them out before we get to them. I only eat it as a last resort. :?

Ultra Unholy,

Hearted Machine...

I don't even like bread.

Yeah man, [bleep] the ends of bread. I'll only use them as an absolutely last resort.

Yes, they're great. When we just got fresh bread, I always get the finishing parts and inmediatly eat them. Without anything on it, it's delicious.

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

^Agreed, wrote this post before I read your though, can't be bothered to edit.

I hate the ends on most types of bread I buy from the store, but when it's home made it's a different story, yum.

Nadril what's a last resort for you? I take them when I wake up at 12 because my brother eats half a loaf for breakfast and the other half for lunch leaving the ends (This is most of the time).

I used to never eat the ends, but now I'm becoming less and less picky about them, and only eat them when they are the last pieces, although they are rather good. They also keep the PB in better than regular bread because of the strength of the crust-side.

When there is no other food I wanna eat in the house / dorm and I'm hungry.

I'll eat them sometimes, but nobody else in my family will. So they just sit in the bag until either they're the only 2 pieces left, or I've eaten them already.

I just ate a peanut butter sandwich on toast. After seeing this thread again, I'm off to make another. With the ends.

My entire family eats the edges, except my brother. My brother tears them off and throws them away, or makes someone else eat them. He's very picky. Hell, he even rips off the edges of hot dog buns and leaves off pizza crusts. he doesn't like anything crusty.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

The crusts (ends) can either be awesome or un... -awesome. The tip is that they're only good if you eat them while they're fresh. If the loaf is even one day old, the only way I'll eat the crust is if it's toasted, but if it's fresh, they'll be the first pieces I go for.

Cool.

I eat the end pieces. I used to never eat them, but now I do. ::'

I'll use them once all the other pieces are gone

but when I did work experience in a school kitchen they had to throw them away 'cause the kids wouldn't eat them

I don't eat 'em, but my parents do. Still, it's a waste to just throw them away.

I could probably eat a whole loaf in one day... And I'm talking about Hovis best of both medium slice... Man I love the stuff...

I eat mind "differently"...

I take around 3 slices, put it in the microwave then eat it... I just like heated bread, my family does freeze it anyway... And I'm the only one who eats the end bits in my family, I say they are missing out...

Luck be a Lady

I NEVER eat the end pieces, too much crust, they are very, very yuck.

i freeze them and use them to make stuffing (or dressing depending where you're from) for thanksgiving and christmas.

I require hugs. Seriously, just give them to me, and youll see your little turtle again.

I eat them, but always together. They have that bit of a curve, making a very big peanut butter and jelly sandwich possible without spilling too much.

They make good toast, but all my bread is toast so meh

lampost_sig_stark.png

I eat em if the loafs fresh, but if its been frozen nobody eats them :P

cept the birds

Doomy edit: I like sheep

Either I stick 'em in the toaster till they're burnt and use them as frisbees, or I put some pickles or or jelly or something on them to eat when I'm digging through the kitchen for a snack..

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
