Aw, I wish our school had an anime club but I think there are only five others in my year that just barely know what anime is. (And they watch Bleach).

 

I don't think there is anyone here that is such an extreme fan that they will walk around with accessories as if they were a nekomimi. Though it would be awesome to see people's reactions, and funny too.

Watched the Hayate S2 OVA. Awesome nosebleed.

If Hokuto no Ken paved the way for the [wagon]-kicking Genre then Ranma 1/2 is what put Slice of Life in gear.

Still need to watch Ranma 1/2. I find a lot of older stuff difficult to get into. For example: I just cannot get into Dragonball of any kind. The same applies to any long-winded shounen-oriented anime - I do quite well with it for a while and then I hit the huge amount of useless filler.

This is kind of how I feel. I can't really get into older anime because well... there are just far more new anime that I'm more interested in watching. Shounen stuff is really really good when it doesn't have an arc of filler. Naruto and Bleach both fall for this epically. I don't mind a few episodes of funny filler stuffs to break things up. I even don't mind when they deviate from the manga, even drastically, (like FMA did) as long as that deviation actually makes a difference - like Filler arcs don't.

 

The good thing about shojo is that it either doesn't have filler, or you don't even notice the filler XD

 

And how can you not like Umineko when we have giant cake??

 

I don't watch animes nowadays. I do remember some that I watched when I was small, but I can't remember since they are all in Japanese... :wall:

I love shoujo anime. Ever since Cardcaptor Sakura. In before lolicon.

 

I've enjoyed a lot of stuff on the shounen/seinen demographic border; for example Lucky Star, Fate/Stay Night and Baccano!. I have this thing about GAR men in anime: one is enough for the whole cast. No need for about twenty of them. It gets really stale fast.

I really enjoyed Toradora even if it was a bit generic and I'm perfectly fine with the ending. The only thing that annoyed me was reading people's comments of the adaptation. When the anime omits something, people rage. When the anime is a carbon copy of the manga/light/visual novel, people rage. I also realized that I don't have a favorite anime, I mostly like everything I watch, for now anyways.

 

Need a change of type of anime so I'm gonna go watch Index so I can watch Railgun for the yuri? o_o

OMG finally! After 6 long hours, I've finally finished Inuyasha! Read from chapter 494 all the way to the end (chapter 558) today, and I have to say: it was worth it. I can't wait until the anime reaches the conclusion, because there are some scenes I'm dying to see animated

 

Now I can finally finish Fruits Basket ._.

Finshed both seasons of Hayate now, awesome show. On another note, I don't think normal anime exists.

Watched Origin: Spirits of the past in anime club today it wasn't too bad. I've rarely seen anime movies I have even remotely liked. I feel complete now. And no one pulled my tail today. :^_^:

So I got The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya . The book is a helluva lot more complex then the show. The series is actually pretty close to the matrix it seems. I can't wait till the next one is translated.

I can't wait to sport my Kenshin Himura costume on Friday :D My mom did a splendid job sewing the outfit, the wig and sword weren't hard to find (although I have to use a plastic ninja sword, because I'd probably get suspended if I brought my uncles katana to school ), and a red sharpie is all I need for the scar. I know two of my other friends are trying to get matching Pikachu costumes, and another two friends are using boxes for something from Metal Gear Solid; this will be a very interesting 'Schooloween Day'

 

 

Battle Royale is epic. I have it on DVD. My friend got me into it, I've read some of the manga of it too and it's waaay sicker than in the film. I keep meaning to read the book, which follows the manga a bit more iirc.
