i play in HD always, and usually flip between fullscreen and resizable as i am usually doing other stuff, using MSN, browsing forums...even playing xbox....

High Detail and fullscreen for me. :mrgreen:

If I'm doing a quest or something that doesn't require timed clicked I go for HD.

 

Otherwise it's mostly LD

I play Low detail on maxed settings. If I try to play HD I have to turn everything off, and it looks essentially the same as Low detail on maxed. :roll:

I play the fixed size, HD client.

 

 

 

The resizeable / full screen modes just scatter all the icons too far apart.

I play in High Detail with full features on my computer, but I use Low Detail with the minimum features when I'm using my mom's laptop because otherwise I can't run any other programs whilst running RS, haha.

I always play in High Detail with full features and in Fullscreen when playing on my normal laptop. I rarely lagg, so it doesn't hinder performance at all. :D

 

 

 

When I play on other computers like my dad's 1998, I have to use Low Detail mode because in High Detail there is way too much lagg. :x

There's an option to never show roofs, and the resizable window is very close to full screen. (Firefox and IE has a 'fullscreen' option if you look around, which allows you to stretch the window even more.)

I play in full HD, but it lag quite a lot on my computer at times :(. But it is still playable :)

highest detail, but i have the screen at the lowest height without the scroll bar, and the widest width... lets you see a lot more of the area around you...

i play in rs in resizable screen because u can have the full screen and still check the other websites, unlike the real fullscreen where it will shrink tothe low detail size scrren if u try to go to another window.

well i play on low detail becoz my computer can't stand the hold HD so it is really annoying -.-

I play Fullscreen, though I might change to fixed screen, seeing that my character fighting now looks like it's made on a camera with 1 frame/second #-o .

 

 

 

P.S. look under "settings" to take off roofs #-o . Oh, and then press the Big Computer Button ;)

With everything shutdown besides my RS window and having rebooted my pc recently HD still laggs for me, even in safe HD mode. I've tried it a few times and it looks so awesome that if I COULD play on it I would, but as my pc doesn't allow me to do so I'm still stuck in the lowest of low details...

I play in low detail with lots of features, the low detail now is like the high detail before the update, and the new high detail is awesome. But when I get my new computer I am going to go to high detail.

I play in Low Detail since it's faster than High Detail. Even though High Detail doesn't lag, motion isn't very smooth (in my oppinion). Besides, I liked the old graphics better since it showed that RuneScape was all about gameplay and didn't need flashy graphics like WoW to succeed. Now all of that's ruined.

When I'm on a faster computer I do play HD full screen. Looks good :thumbsup: .

 

 

 

But mostly if I'm on one of our faster machines I'm playing lotro.

 

 

 

So I play RuneScape when I can only get at a Win '98 box (bcos my kids are playing lotro :mrgreen: ) and that can only run the original high detail. So that is what I mostly use.

I used to play high detail on the computer in my study without problems but old high detail on the one in my bedroom because the fps was slowing up. Now I have a knew computer in the study though and the old (but good one) in my room so now i play high detail with full features including anti aliasing times 4 on the new one. I rarely play in full screen, opting instead for the more practical re sizable window so i can browse other sites.

I play on High Definition, resizable window, although I should really be on Low Detail.
