You only snipe? No Assault Rifles or Machine Guns? You're insane. :-#

 

 

 

I would be lost without using either in any game.

 

 

Meh, maybe that's why I'm not doing so well. I'll buy an AK or something for a day and try that. Though as a sniper, I tend to stay a long distance away from my enemies, most of my deaths are from other snipers. A few times though, a guy got close to me...I pulled out my shotgun, and shot him point blank.

Yeah, after playing PC FPS's for a while now console shooters feel... I don't know, less exciting? I just like how the mouse and keyboard give you sooo much more control.

There is a workaround on page two...Did anyone try the workaround, cause I don't want to be passing something around that isn't doing what it's suppose to be doing...

 

 

 

PC FPS are much better than consoles. I believe it's how your hands are placed, and such a greater control over moving. Instead of directional, or some form of an analog stick, you have a mouse that actually moves up, and down, not just tilting. Which is probably why you feel more control, or comfortable, even if you've played console games and are used to the tilts, the mouse overcomes everyone. :-#

Though in my opinion once you've become good at sniping in this game you should leave the one-shot/reload SR's and go to the SR25 or MSG. MSG is technically better than the SR25, as it's quieter, and not as much recoil, they are two shots to kill (unless you headshot, but I'm not that good enough to get headshots all the time, so I aim below the neck, though I've seen games where someone does kill 7 people in a row with headshots, no botting), but the MSG you can fire two shots quickly and always hit the chest if you're in the dead centre of the chest for the first shot. 10 shots, 5 people can die faster than you'd kill 3 people with a L96. This in serious games in Snow Valley to me has been the most problematic thing. Too many people at one spot, so if I fire I'll be known too quickly. MSG solved that quite easily. :

And MSG is better than SR25, I didn't know that at first though. At least I only bought the SR25 for a day.

wow, this game is [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed. I shot a guy in the head, TWICE, with a sniper rifle at medium range. Nothing happened. He wasn't moving, yet somehow the bullet missed when I was aiming directly at him =D>

Lol, some people lag in the game, so they look like they are standing still or the animations of them walking has already happened so you aren't shooting at anything. Majority of the time it's your connection that is going slow. -.-

Yeah, the netcode in the game is pretty bad. It's especially obvious in pistol only matches where you pump someone's face full of lead and they don't die. They at least need a ping filter so that you can find less-laggy games.

Or they need to show the ping, so at least you know who's lagging.

 

Other than the time I mentioned, I don't lag at all. Hackers are a bit rarer than in most games, I think, I've only seen a few.

 

Oh, and a good tip: Never stand in front of a sniper. Nothing annoys me more than scoping, finally finding my target, only to have a teammate jump right in front of me and block the way with his big head. Then he (My teammate) starts randomly firing shots, and the sniper I'm aiming at shoots both of us in shot. (Which I did once, by the way \ ) Of course, if you're on the other team, feel free to jump in front of me. I don't mind. Just don't shoot.

Omg, that has to be the most annoying thing ever. It constantly happens when I camp in Cold Seed in the tower at the Alpha base. Geez...>.>

ok, I downloaded it. Pretty fun, but a lot of the times, after a game finishes, it doesn't let me quit. Dunno if i'm getting any xp.
