Obama pledged that he would secure Network Neutrality on the internet.

If that doesn't make up your minds, you don't deserve to vote!

Also if Obama does win, I think it would change the world. Having a black president would give a punch in the face to racism and intolerancy.

I heard on the radio today, they were interviewing people who had just voted. There was this deep south guy who said "ah voted fo' McCain! Obama ain't...Christian enough!"

Stereotypes, you say?

Whatever happens it will be pretty entertaining to see who wins.

To SPMc, I would estimate about 5 days after voting closes, because America is a big place.

Weird, Biden is against net neutrality.

Why are people against net-neutrality anyway?

As Obama put(Not a direct quote, a vague memory quote), It will silence peoples voices and opinions, and squeeze freedom from us.

So true. I prefer Biden over Hillary. And that occasionally funny site Punditkitchen is no longer funny. People have started spamming it with motifakes. :(

McCain wants to send men, women and children to fight in Iraqistan and Afghaniraq for the next millenia.

When will the results be out?

Last time, I think it took less than 24 hours after the first polls closed, and that's with Kerry demanding a recount in Ohio.

First polls close at 8 PM EST I think, last close at 1 AM? If it isn't too close (And that'll most likely be the case), a winner should be apparent pretty quickly.

Apparently Barack Obama's grandmother has died.

What source is this from? Shame :|

...is there such a thing as "sympathy vote"? People vote for someone because they feel sorry for them?

I don't know why but I'm getting nervous about tomorrow. Every poll suggests Obama should win it but there are so many unknowns in this election; will race really be a factor?, will complacency creep in? will there be another controversy like Florida in 2000? McCain making gains in the polls is slightly worrying as well. Plus I keep seeing the image of Truman holding up the newspaper with 'Dewey defeats Truman' on it.

Hopefully on wednesday/thursday I'll be able to look at this post and laugh loudly but until the results are out I'll still be a bit wary.

I can't see a sympathy vote working here there are to many things at stake, this is really a crossroads election in my opinion. That being said, Reagan's approval rating rose up after he was shot by Hinckley.

If it's as close as the polls have been, we might not know until Wednesday or even Thursday. But we can probably know around 9 PM Tuesday, all the same.

I'm pretty sure Obama'll win. Not like it matters. People act like his being elected is some Godsend, which makes me laugh. A black man being elected isn't really a big deal. And if you say it is a big deal since he's black, that's racist.

Ahhhhh the twenty-sided die that is racism.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Err... what?

Analysing historical impact is now racist?

How is saying that it is a big deal racist? It would say a lot about how far America has come in relation to race if he wins, that is a great thing - progress. Now that is not to say people should vote for him only because he is black, it just means that a black man winning would be a great sign that America is overcoming it's troubled past in relation to race.

Because you're white?!

Hehe, on the subject of racism, my teacher told us today that the word "Eskimo" is worse than the word "[racist term]" (Well, n-word). I lol'd. Because I'm about a quarter Comanche (or Sioux?) and a quarter Inuit.

I want a black President, just not Obama. I'd really like Allen West. He's a beast. If Obama loses(which is highly unlikely) West in 2012! He'd have as much experience as Obama by then. He is the future of the Republican party. Mike Pence for minority leader and him for whip.

I like both candidates, but I'm choosing Obama for this reason.

Mccaine is likely to die in office. If that happens, Sarah Palin becomes president :ohnoes:

Remember her fancy new coat? If she's president, she'll have a whole closet full of fancy new coats.

She's more qualified than Obama is.

How so? I don't think being governor or a low population state like Alaska makes you more qualified than being a senator of a state like Illinois :-k

Being a Senator, it doesn't matter what state you are from. Add that to the fact that he has accomplished nothing while in office. Palin actually has a long list of accomplishments and has the highest approval rating of any Governor in the country. Even The Governator. I'd agree with him that Obama is a 'girlie man' though. He looks soft. I'd challenge him to 1 on 1 and take him to church. Not Wrights church though.
