Completely Ruined

I'm bored and I feel like ranting about how this game was ruined. 3 the of the best aspects where completely taken out of the game. Dueling, Merchanting, and Pking. I don't really give a hell about all the new crap they released cuz it blows. Rares now have no value, dueling is absolutely pointless, and you can't make money off trading anymore. RS went from being a completely unique and enjoyable game to just another gay mmo. Just PKing was such an important aspect of the game. Now some of the greatest Pkers where completely cheated out of what they enjoyed doing. Dueling used to be a high stakes fun way to make money but of course Jagex has to ruin that. And of course the trading pisses me off the most. Rares do nothing now. They used to be an important part of the economy. I think all of these changes caused many more problems then they solved. And if your some [developmentally delayed] who started playing 6 months ago, don't give me [cabbage]. I doubt 3/4 of the people on here know what Im even talking about...

I stopped reading after you called it gay. Jagex had to make changes because otherwise there was a good chance the whole game would have been shut down. They are introducing a new pk-everywhere option this year or next, stop being so selfish. Would you rather they take their time to make it similar to the way it was before and have some people angry, or just have the entire game shut down?

You can't say what they're releasing is crap if it hasn't come out yet. Pk anywhere sound familiar? If you're as awesome and old school as you seem to think, you'd appreciate that. Or, you could atleast wait and see if it sucks before you start ranting about something that happened almost 9 months ago by my count.

Actually when i realised that the old merchanting was gone i was like w00000000t. I was hapier about it than i was about item scaming being gone. Both of them were simply stealing money from people, it's just that scammers needed creativity and brain, merchanters didn't :roll:

Pking is still around, and very enjoyable. I hate how everyone says it was "removed" from the game, when Jagex just took it and changed it.

Dueling --> Tournies

 

 

 

Oh no, pures are useless now! Who would have thought that handicapping your character would give you disadvantages! Seriously, you can still make millions with the Duel Tournies. The only difference is that pures are useless.

 

 

 

Merchanting --> GE

 

 

 

You still can merchant only now you must have patience and intelligence if you want to be successful. If you ask me, GE merchanting is the only true form of merchanting Runescape ever had. The old way was just haggling.

 

 

 

PKing --> I'm speechless

Why can't people accept the fact that this update is A YEAR OLD. Either quit the game or just leave it alone. You'd rather have the game gone because of bots and rwtraders? I know I wouldn't besides, the pvp update is coming out. While it won't be like the old pk'ing, it'll still have the pvp everyone has been wanting(in a way).

I know Pking is a good point,But There are too many strong people in the game,So they still need to find a way to reduce bad effects (At least We cannot find many bots in the game,So it should be fair for at least 60% of players).

 

 

 

I hope more tougher things can be back,They can answer to ours if there were some grave-mark less areas for Player-killing.

yes as we speak Jagex is working on the new p'king mechanism. this includes.

 

 

 

1) p'king any one any were on the map.

 

 

 

2) new equipment.

 

 

 

3) "some" worlds will be used to p'king.

 

 

 

I'm actually happy that Jagex got rid of the old p'king and is now introducing us into new age of p'king.

 

they probably would of lost billions of corporative money if they would of had the "wildy p'king" but now ever since people are hearing that pk'ing is coming back there running back to runescape. BUT no runescape is not ruined why would you say that?

i agree this thread is a littile pointless. but i can still se from his side. i got along ABSOLUTLY FINE without every change they made. maybe even better.
