I dont feel like i am making the most of the information age and am inviting suggestions.

I made a few tragic movies on windows movie maker, most involving a robot 'professor' called problematix who i employ to help me solve problems and despite his best efforts he only makes it worse. I enjoyed making the movies but its getting boring.

So i was wondering what things i could do. Ultimately i would like to make crappy flash games or something but i dont know where to start.

Any advice or help would be much appreciated

download either the flash 8 or flash CS3 trial version (lasts 30 days). AS2 (Flash 8 or CS3) is easier to learn in my opinion. AS3 (CS3) has more advantages but is more time consuming and a lot harder to learn.

google flash tutorials.

as Randal Graves once put it.

"What's the point in having an Internet connection if you're not using it to look up weird, [bleep]-up pictures of dirty sex you'll never have yourself?"

Lol.

You want to get the most out of the information age? You're doing a better job then most, as you're already on a forum. If you're wanting the most, I'd suggest finding a popular 'Real Life' board, like that 'Off-Topic' board or others. Or find a forum that interests you. You'll learn from it, and probably learn more about your career, or keep you up to date with it, not too mention you'll enjoy it.

As well, some video games on the internet are pretty good to play every so often. I'm not talking hardcore or FPS, or MMO's, but look in Video Games, and you'll see some of the games that are exciting and appealing to everyone being posted in there.

Information age is about spreading information. Having mIRC, contributing new creative media onto the internet is pretty good as well.

The problem is, after seeing it a few times, it stops becoming weird. The next thing you know you want more of it. Then when youve accumulated a lot of it, you start realising you actually do like it. This situation snowballs until a point where you carry around a cup in case you come across 2 females willing to partake in aforementioned pictures.

Maybe I should carry around a cup, ive never actually asked anyone.

I'm surprised...not even half a page and already comments about certai...adult...aspects of the internet.

Anyway if you want to write flash etc, just download something like the flash kit or w/e.

I'd advise jsut learn about fun things you can do irl like build a water powered rocket or how to run a car on used vegetable oil, and have some fun irl. The internet's not going to be available to you indefinatly, but rl is.

Anyway, looking forward to a good flash game written by you if you choose that path ;-)

Download the GIMP ( http://www.gimp.org ) and learn to use it.

That guy said it all. I did it and I still like using the GIMP.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

Yeah, but sallaste, your not great at sig making. ;) YOu make it sound lke you have had it for ages.

But really. KEep our wits about you on the internet. If you need reccomendations for flash websites try kongregate.

But whatever you do, do not click

And do not go to 4chan if you'd like to keep your sanity.

If you have about 3 hours a day , you could try doing a website service. I did that at age 14 and made $3,000.00 in a summer. I only built and maintained 3 sites. It will also help build a resume for getting a job later on in life.

It is what I have come to expect from the /b/tards that troll these forums.(not saying the people you mentioned are /b/ tards.)

If you don't know how to have fun on the internet then why are you bothering in the first place? Real life > Internet, I'm sure even all of us net junkies agree, so why limit yourself only to computer? If you're not satisfied then that's probably a good thing.

My only suggestion is go to Wikipedia, type in random words that you are interested in, and then educate yourself.

....Mindblowing.

Too bad you're, too late, that ended like a year ago.

And to the OP: you really need to go and ask a forum for what to do on the internet...
