:o Am i the only one here who plays Drums in an actual band?

 

I have not played the game, but if its anything like real drums... :)

My second rock Band 1 pedal broke last night, I thought about usng my old real bass pedal, I've seen mods of it, does anyone know how it's done?

 

Don't bother with the bass pedal mod unless you're serious about getting competitive scores, it costs about $50-100 USD to get a custom bass pedal with a reed switch mod. Information about the mod can be found here: http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/vie ... php?t=2226

 

 

 

I broke my RBI bass pedal and before I moved onto the destroyer pedal I was using two butter knives under the broken pedal secured by duct tape. Works even better than when it broke (I broke my pedal 20 minutes into playing it for the first time). Here's a video link:

I hate how the Guitar Hero thread thrives every day when the Rock Band one is a dud, especially when Rock Band is better then GH in every way. (Okay maybe it lacks a little in difficulty for Guitar).

Rock is a much more relaxed game where as Guitar hero is a lot more competitive. I'm also not a huge fan of the way Rock Band displays your score etc. at the end of the song, especially if you're playing a gig with multiple songs, I want to look at my stats before going onto the next one some times, especially if I just FCed something and want a picture.

Holy crap. I almost killed myself sightreading Ride The Lightning on expert drums. It just never ended. I died like hlafway through the song but kept going. I can't feel my foot or right wrist. I was also playing in a thick sweatshirt so I am sweating like crazy.

Yeah, that used to happen to me when I played that song. If you think that's fast, though...Try This Calling or Chiron.

And if you think thats long get The Camera Eye by Rush lul.

I discovered the Rock Band Store was up for Wii today so I downloaded the free songs and Snow (Hey Oh). That song killed me. I managed to pass with 4 stars and an 84% but wow. I was so used to 4-5 starring most songs easily that I wasn't ready for the challenge of the song.

 

 

 

Anyways, just glad the Store is up now. :P

Because it has some freedom for hilarity. GH and RB do not.

 

 

 

This is all about reflex. Some of the music is ok, but mostly it's just like an amped up version of that old Reptar game I used to have when the buttons moved along a slider and you had to push them when they got to a certain point.

 

 

 

Basically, it's just too repetitive.

 

 

 

It also doesn't help that I don't listen to any bands, but w/e.

Because it has some freedom for hilarity. GH and RB do not.

As for The Library, yes, it sucks.It was even made by the evil mastermind behind Cortana of Halo 3.
