I'm in the museum looking for the dish atm, so many mutants and I have no HP. Did find two cloaking device kind of things though, very cool.

Question: I really want to play this game like I Am Legend, what things are there that would let me do this? Like, i nkow you can get a dog, but can you choose to live in a building, gather supplies, look for other survivors, ec?

[hide=]I have to escort Dr Li through this sewer, and she stopped because one of the members has heart problems. Only problem is that he died from ghouls and she doesn't realize it, and won't move. What should I do?[/hide]

I might be getting the game tomorrow ;O. Only thing that bothers me is that the PC version has DRM =\.

Oh well, I can deal with it since I'll have better controls, and mods.

I'll tell you what, it sure makes me feel better about pirating it. ;)

heh, I was actually considering getting the PC version too

RA3 is coming out with that stupid [cabbage] too. Looks like I won't be paying for that one

I'm just going to download it from Steam, no DRM there.

But I have a question about Steam, if I download a game, get a new computer, can I download the game again without having to pay again? I'm assuming yes, because it just seems silly having to pay again :?.

Yeah of course you can. It's always tied to that steam account, forever.

[hide=]Well, I'm not too far into the game yet (can't play again until tomorrow night <.<), but you can get your own place pretty much as soon as you enter the town of Megaton and disarm the nuke in the middle of it. It takes a minor investment in the explosives skill. If you were nice to the sherriff he'll give you your own place which you can decorate with some useful objects from the store.[/hide]You really have to be careful between settlements... I was walking towards Megaton, saw a strange light out of the corner of my eye, decided to investigate, and promptly got roasted to a crisp by a raider with a flamethrower :|

probably gonna get this tomorrow, do you think they did a better job on this than oblivion

Im loving this game so far, the bloody mess perk is great

[hide=]I decided to blow up Megaton, then killed Tenpenny and the guy who asked me to do it. I kill pretty much everyone i see so my character has really bad karma [/hide]

vansing.png

Man, really disappointing ending. :( could have been so much better.

[hide=spoiler]Game's ending just wasn't that exciting, and it was pretty generic. My character ended up sacrificing his life to turn on the purifier, then it was just like a slide show for the ending.

Disappointing, really. Plus with the way it ends you can't continue on and have to refer to an earlier save. Lame.[/hide]

How many hours was it? I haven't played very much yet =/ [hide=Probably not a spoiler, but just to be safe]Currently getting raped by raiders on my way to get a satellite dish on the Washington Monument :wall:[/hide]

12 hours, maybe a little more or little less. Didn't really do any side quests.

I mean, I still enjoyed the ride but the ending was boring.

Seriously Nad? Wow...that kinda blows...that was one of the best aspects of oblivion...the ability to continue playing after the main quest. That's really kinda retarted. That kinda undermines the possibility of expansions aswell.

Yeah it sucked. I mean, I can still run around the world on an earlier save but it's just not the same, because the quest is just unfinished.
