Got an inch of snow last night, hoping for more (I wouldn't mind a foot or two :P ) for tomorrow when I go skiing. Now there's this thin layer of light, fluffy snow on top of hard-packed snow that's nearly ice and covered in dirt. Looks kind of weird.

I had most of monday, all of tuesday, thursday and friday off due to snow. Looks like i'll have tomorrow off aswell.

I prefer two hour delays - then it counts as a full school day and I get to sleep in.

I hate how people get snow days because of 4-5 inches. For me to have a snow day the subway needs to shut down, which needs 4-5 feet of snow.

 

 

 

tell me about it. even back in elementary, they'd force us to go outside during lunch even when there's a blizzard :|

You want pictures of snow? I'll post some when i take some pictures tomorrow if I have time. We had quite the storm today and got 50cm of snow, adding to the lot of snow we already had.

The ONE snowday southern Nevada has had in 30 years and we have to make it up this next Monday that should have been a staff development day we would have had off.

This is why college is a drag... no snowdays. Hey, I live in freaking CANADA and the college has never closed in the two winters i've been here. Even if the city bus did 20 flips and a few barrel rolls I would just walk to class in the snow.

Lol, anyway update on the amount of snow, they're currently saying on the radio we had 55.2 cm of snow. Almost beating last year's record.

Well, my story is almost the same as his, except I live in Estonia, and here are no snowdays even for basic school.

snowed a lot few weeks back (maybe month now :? ), was annoying to get to and from work and go out :wall:

I have yet to have a snow day this year. It always ends up starting to snow too early. We get about a foot of snow, then rain. and it makes things icy. I'm glad we haven't had any snow days. I don't like snow days.

winter's pretty much over here. weak compared to last year.
