Sam
I've had the tiniest bit where I am, in south west england, it's doesn't last very long though; though i do know a few people who live about 50-100km from me who've had snow that's closed down their schools. It's been very cold here though, it was -5 here, which is unusual in england, even for winter  2257AD.TUMBLR.COM

forestfrolic
It snowed a lot today. I like snow. But not a lot of snow. And not on weekends. Cos now I have to shovel the snow. And I don't miss a day of school. Because it's Saturday. Bummer. Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem..

Lenin64
Got snow yesterday and actually got today off. Icy roads and all that. It rained today, and only stopped recently, and with tonight's expected temperatures it wouldn't be a big surprise if I had tomorrow off as well. Command the Murderous Chalices! The Observer
Had to shovel. Now my back and arms are hurting. #-o Thank god it was just powder though and not packing because it would have been very hard to shovel.
What980
So watching your friends girlfriend sled into a 2 foot deep un-frozen creek after you spent 15minutes nagging her about sledding is HILARIOUS! She was soooo pissed.
Sbrideau
First time college is off for a snow day (exept in the exams), we got like 40 cms of snow. If it had been 30 or 35, like last time, we would still have had college rofl.
Nom
Fourth snow day in a row for me. None of the snowstorm we got on Monday night/Tuesday morning has melted off (still below freezing) and we got a bit more through the week, but mainly it's because of the ice. All of the trees are frozen solid, we had a bit of frozen rain . . . Yeah Blizzard '09 here. Although I really thought we'd go back to school yesterday, both then and today we had a 2-hour delay that was changed to closed overnight. dsavi
We have like a foot of snow now, it hasn't gone above 0 for a few weeks now. It hasn't snowed in a while actually, so the snow we do have is packed hard as rock (Which will be dangerous when it melts) and mixed with dirt. And then again, that's a [comparitively] perfect surface for biking, although I do wish it was a bit more smooth. I doubt we'll get a snow day ever although we haven't had this much snow in a long time, our school probably wants us to man it out.
jjrox32
I hate how people get snow days because of 4-5 inches. For me to have a snow day the subway needs to shut down, which needs 4-5 feet of snow.
Deiophobus
I read in our local newspaper that this winter is the third snowiest on record (town was founded in 1860 I think), and the 6th coldest. It was a good winter. It's supposed to warm up over the weekend though, so this foot of snow that's been on the ground for a month may finally melt.
