November 27, 200817 yr We all know that the recent quest is extremely difficult for most people. I remember reading somewhere (on Runescape, or here) that there would be more parts to this quest. If the first part of the quest is already this difficult, imagine how hard the other parts are going to be! What do you guys think the requirements for the next parts might be? I personally think there will be some 80+ Stat requirements, and maybe ever 90+ for a third, fourth or even fifth part. I'm also pretty sure Jagex is going to add "Must have completed [City] Achievement Diary" aswell as being able to access every guild. I really don't think Jagex will have a "99 Level" skill as a REQUIREMENT for the quest (Note: Making Dragon Plates (99 Smithing) is not a requirement for the quest), but I wouldn't be suprised for several 90+ skills.
November 27, 200817 yr Yeah, IF there is a next part to this GM quest anytime soon, it will be amazingly insane. I mean it will be like days long until we find out the extent of not only the whole quest, but possibly also most of the rewards (if not weeks for the rewards :o ). I personally think that the next quest will have at least 4 reqs 70+ (just my opinion though). Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
November 27, 200817 yr After 13 minutes? Chill out, you don't need to bump so often. And I doubt they'll add an 80+ req. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? Camera guy: still laughing Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy Camera guy: runs away still laughing Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? November 27, 200817 yr 30 Views and 0 Posts? Come on people... You waited 13 minutes for responses to a thread about the next quest whereas like 95% of these guys are still working on the first one. On topic: I do believe the second one will be the 150th quest, which'll be the one where we really get our good reward(s). -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.

November 27, 200817 yr Author Sorry about the bump. Why don't you think a 80+ requirement is realistic? This is suppose to be the hardest and most complex quest plot/series ever. My friend tells me Legends was a sinch compared to this quest, and I found Legends to be a pretty hard quest. As far as I know, there aren't any quests with 80+ requirements, but whos to say Jagex will keep it this way? I think several 70+ requirements for the 2nd part, 2 80+ requirements for the third (if they make it) and a 90+ requirement for the 4th part (if they make it). Remember, this is THE hardest quest. Also, a quest that takes several days would either be very long and boring, or have loads of difficult battles, puzzles and walking. I don't know much about the Runescape Gods but maybe like some very difficult boss monsters which can only be fought during the quest. Also, for each player the monster is different so you have to figure out how to kill it yourself.
November 27, 200817 yr Making a topic speculating about the second half of a grandmaster quest only hours after people have finished it? Wtffff. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.

This quest doesn't have extremely high requirements really. It's one thing to be a good skiller, another to be a good quester. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. November 27, 200817 yr Heh, I mentioned before that this quest is possibly a build up to a bigger quest  Wish I remember which topic I posted it in now -.-
November 27, 200817 yr Well. Legends came out in 2003. It has been 5 years since legends. So I am going to guess the next quest, *God-Master Quest* While Guthix Awakens, will be in 2013.
November 27, 200817 yr A proverb goes: To conceal a lie, one has to tell even bigger lie. Jagex has to build up a bigger quest just to keep its customers interested or give better reward than While Guthix Sleeps The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping
November 27, 200817 yr Author You're right but when i say the requirements are big, i'm not only refering to the skill requirements. Right now, you must complete EVERY quest to start WGS...EVERY QUEST! Not many people have a quest cape (compared to the rest of the RS population) Also, Jagex is aiming this quest at high level players (atleast those who have a quest cape). I don't know any person with a quest cape who doesnt w/o an 80+ skill.
November 27, 200817 yr I hope the sequel doesn't take like a year to come out. After doing that quest, I can't wait to get my revenge on lucien for killing all of those prominent NPCs. Especially that guy from dream mentor. I mean you teach the guy to overcome his fears, and he gets snuffed out, just like that. Pisses me off. And I want that stone of Jas back... after I've had a taste of its power...
November 27, 200817 yr I'm guessing they'll have a grand master quest every 1 or 2 years. Every few months sounds unrealistic to me. Unless they hire like 200 more staff members for their quest team or something. Actually I don't even know how long RFD took to develop, it could be longer than that still.
November 27, 200817 yr The requirments for this quest just seem unreal to me, tho i have seen a few people who have finished it already o.o there is no way that i'm gonna do this quest anytime soon, or possibally ever -.- i'm not much of a quester so that is what would take me a while lol Please click and warm up my egg.
November 27, 200817 yr I'm just wondering right now where the dragonkin forge fits into all of this. And the room beyond the mithril door with the huge orb... thing. It was never used during the quest :?

November 27, 200817 yr On topic: I do believe the second one will be the 150th quest, which'll be the one where we really get our good reward(s). You don't think 400k exp and 10m gp is a good reward? November 27, 200817 yr Am I the only one who didnt think the quest was hard. Seriously, for a grandmaster quest I wouldnt have expected to see it finished the day it came out. The riddles were ... easy (well, sometimes not, cause there was no logic, but I mean, no MEP2-like riddles here). I hope second one is harder :-). A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!

I think most people finished it in around 6-7 hours without a guide, and I'm definitely wanting a harder quest for next time. Hopefully we won't have to wait long for the next Grandmaster quest (maybe number 150? :) ) 11th to 99 Summoning85th to 99 Runecrafting

Hopefully we won't have to wait long for the next Grandmaster quest (maybe number 150? :) ) Yeah, remember when they said they were working on a huge quest? The first time? They said "Not necessarily for release in '08". I can't be certain, but perhaps they were alluding to this huge quest being a sequel to the one they released this year? And yeah as you mentioned, 150 is coming up, and they did something special for 50 (legends) and 100 (RFD) so it stands to reason they would do something extra special for their 150'th.
November 27, 200817 yr It will probably be longer and harder than this one, so simply said: Crazy hard. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
November 27, 200817 yr [hide=Spoliers to While Guthix Sleeps]After seeing the Dragonkin awaking, I think the next quest will be much, much more harder. Cutscene of Luicen and the 3 Dragonkins fighting or even us fighting them? :D[/hide]
