SUSHI. i'm fine with eating raw salmon with some lemon juice and pepper... but put it in rice and it tastes horrid Raw salmon goes great with baked or mashed potatoes, add some pepper and a teaspoon of butter & a salad side-dish. It's a common dish in nordic countries, I only learned to appreciate it at age 12 or so. Thought it's basically eating cold slimy lumps before that. It depends what kind of rice is in a sushi, IMO dark rice or underboiled tastes absolutely repugnant with all kinds of fish

December 14, 200817 yr I love chilli, the spicier the better. I've been making pots and pots of it lately. And steak, of course. What do you use to make it spicier? I ask, because I have relatives (good ol' southern folk) who have a container that will make 1 pot of chili spicy with just about one drop. It comes in a fake looking pill bottle, but I don't remember the name. I use Scotch Bonnet chillis, so it's fairly spicy anyway. La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

December 14, 200817 yr Had one of the best bowls of Miso Ramen today.Perfectly tender meat,crispy,yet flavored by the soup.Nice,thick noodles,cooked with the soup,not boiled seperately.The soup itself was great,not those crappy bottled ones.
