Me and my younger brother, a few years back, were playing a version of baseball (had something to do with a slingshot, a nerf ball, and the living room) in our living room. My brother tried be real dramatic about catching one, so he ran backwards and leaped in the air to try and catch one of the balls. Well, he caught it, but he went straight through the sliding glass door in our living room, straight through it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He went to the hospital and got some staples in his head (some glass cut his scalp open) while we watched Babe and ate ice cream at my neighbor's house.

Me and my mate were showing off how tough our stomachs are by taking turns punching each other as hard as we could. Shows off how hard we can tense. Why? I believe it was something to do with the girls watching us, I'm not sure. And I think alcohol was thrown, though not with me, as I was driving, this was only last May. And I do stupid things sober. Anyway, we're taking it in turns to punch, our stomachs are steadily getting redder, and we're gradually punching harder and harder. I decide I'm gonna try and knock him down, slip, and end up punching him right in the hip with the knuckle on my little finger. I still can't make a fist properly with my right hand because of that.

I was closing my eyes when i was ridning a bike, there was a fence bout 10 m away, yeah you can pretty much guess the rest. I still have 2 scars :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i was drunk offcourse, But i told myself later that i was tired after doing some secret mission

OK so its halloween, my mates street is doing a trick or treat night. We have this wicked idea. So i get dressed up in a black hooded cloak, with a scythe (grimreaper) and my mate sets up a lawn chair in the front yard. He put the candy pot on my arm, and told me to sit perfectly still. Anyway this kid (probably no more than 10) comes up to get some candy. He gets close, i grab his arm and scream at him. Ive gone "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the kids gone "AHHHHHHHHHH!" then he DROP KICKED me right in the balls! So the kids run off crying, im on the ground crying, blinded by pain when his mum comes over and tore up us for being idiots. I still havent found the left one yet...

Anyway, some of the dumbest injuries I've ever gotten probably come from pole-vaulting. My highschool never really had a good coach until my senior year, so my friend and I would just try [cabbage] and watch the good guys from other schools :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyway screwing up a jump is probably the singlemost scary and exhilarating experience ever. One of my best was where I didn't get quite enough speed down the runway and got to the peak of my 13 foot jump, and then came straight back down onto the track :lol: sprained an ankle on that one 8)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

on a side note I sprained the other ankle 1 week later when i landed funny on the mat and my mate did a couple days after that :lol: The trainer loved us and our various bizarre injuries :)

Hahaha, I've always wondered where someone finds they have a natural talent for pole vaulting. Just what were they doing at home?!

I was in a car crash a few years back, and the force of the crash caused the seatbelt to break 2 of my ribs, but it also saved my life so :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I was eight, I tried to run up a wall and backflip off it, landed on my head :( split it open. Very sore lol.

It was kinda dark out, and my m8 and I were playin basketball..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I hopped on my bike and started riding it around, my friend passed me the ball and i started dribblin it while still riding the bike..

 

 

 

I come to the rim from the freethrow line, and take a shot, while still riding.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As I shoot i loose my balance, the ball rebounds and hits me on the side of the head as i have no hands on the handlebars and am tipping to my left. I finally crash and i get tossed straight up. My handlebars are sticking straight up and finally i land with my junk coming RIGHT down on the handlebars...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I couldn't breath from the pain, and my friend couldnt' breath from laughing so hard..

When i was in 5th grade (11 probally), i was playing full court basketball with my friend. Some idiot stood in the middle of the court with a maddle bat, he was just swinging. So i stole the ball from my friend, ran right past the kid and *WHAM* right in the face, got me in my cheek. If that would have been my eye, could have been serious, it was just bruised for a while though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got my revenge on the kid later with a little something called "my fists" later on in the week though :lol:

Other than a few major injuries I did have a weird one. I was about 7 or 8 and me and my neighbour were GTing( those fancy sleds) and we decided to go on together. Once we hit the jump( 1 foot incline) I flew off of the GT and landed right on my tailbone. It's probably one of the most painful things ever. I couldn't walk home or barely move my legs.

You can exercise your right not to wear if you like but can i direct you to this news article explaining how an anti seatbelt campaigner died in a car crash because he wasnt wearing a seat belt. Maybe he shouldn't have taken his own advice that he wrote in this article only 4 months before his death.

In my county, not wearing a seatbelt makes you susceptible to a $50 fine if you're caught/the police care. (though I think it's only if a DWI or something else happens at the same time, also voids insurance)

ya, I don't know why some people don't wear setabelts, it's quite stupid :?

 

 

 

They aren't really inconveniencing in any way, sure, a little bit constricting, but they can save your life.

well it wasent me but it was my cusin and it was SO funny i have to share...he tried to bunge jump off hid deck using a normal rope that he had tied around hid waste...good thing he wasnt seriously injured... :o :o

Well there are 2 experiences

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. I was like 4 or 5 and i was over at my best friends house (it seems he has become to "cool" and "popular" to say hi now) and my parents and his parents were talking so i decided to go to the sandbox, to my displeasure there were bricks all over it so i tryed to take them off. The first one i tryed to take off it fell outta my hand and sliced my middle find till it was hanging by a thread so the ambulance had to come and the only thing i remember in the hospital is the doctor "Don't laugh at my glasses" as he was stitching me up i didnt break any bones somehow

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.I was pumped about getting a new bike for my birthday and it was a new GT Bullet so i was riding it around thinking i was a hotshot and an idea popped into my brain to lower my goal all the way(note i was 8 or 9 and wasn't very tall and didn't have "ups")and stand up on the wheels of my bike and slam dunk the ball and hang on the rim. So i went for it but my wheel hit the base of the goal before i could let go of the bike and the hands went sideways and i impaled myself inches away from my kidney. In fell on the concrete and couldnt breathe and thought this is it im gonna die but i didnt and i went into the house and my mom took me to the hospital and i learned i had punched a hole in my Adrenal Glan, inches away from my kidney. The bruise was disgusting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also i had a time where i was wrestling my dad for the channel changer and my pinkie toe was up and he stepped on it and dislocated it.

Well today i got hit in the head by a base ball. A girl friend of mine (she's a girl thats a friend...) threw the base ball (just as we had started tossing (or should i say) pitching it around... first time throwing it to me,a nd it missed my glove and hit me int he forehead... god it hurts!
