ANYWHO!!! as i was going to chat on about.. there is no age limit on playing runescape, if you just so happen to have spare time and your bored of playing other online games or bowsing ebay and facebook lol... why just because your over the age of i dunno 19 (teenager) stops you playing a game! i am 20 does that make me old?? or just older than some of the people that play?? i dont know or dont care i enjoy the game and play it in my free time! (with my little brother and sister) haha

I would love to have my dad play with me, and I am almost an adult. I always enjoyed playing computer games with him when I was younger. Course, it would take him alot longer to get to my level, but doing GWD and things are more fun if the other person(s) are in the room.

I really don't think age matters. But if you're 12 or under, you should be locked into Quick Chat like Jagex says. I like seeing people of all ages playing RuneScape. It really adds to the variety of cultures and personality in-game. That's one of the main reasons I like RuneScape. :thumbsup:

Also, some of the replies on this topic (especially the first response) highlight exactly what is wrong with some of the kids on this board. It wasn't like the OP was unreadable, stupid or rude. Why did it warrant that response?

 

Should have been said nicely, but still, I find it hard to take people seriously if they don't think the conversation is worth typing out.

I really like how, in this topic, it seems that the dads have the worst spelling and grammar out of everyone. I wonder what causes this.

My dad plays, he started a few weeks after i started playing, and is much better than i am. Hes 114 combat and has 1800+ total, whereas I've only got 1550+ total and I'm level 103 combat. Although i don't often get the chance to do things in the game with him(as i have too short an attention span to play for more than a half hour.), when we do, it's fun. We used to fight the mole in fally a lot, but we both reduced the amount we play the game, because he's got a busier job now, and again, my attention span is too short. But having a parent play the game is awesome.

Hmm, makes me wonder if I ever pked dads...

 

 

 

Anyway I know some older people in runescape but no dads, only an aunt and her nephews and just some older people probably 30+...

I have a friend who's 46 on RS. He's a very nice person. Was really generous to me before the trade limit too.

 

 

 

Don't be hating on adult players, they probably get laid way more often than we do 8-)

Does it really matter if you are a dad or not? I'm 22, but not a father, my friend the same age has a son, Gaming is something we've grown up with and it is fun and we enjoy it; and most of "us" (including tif members) will continue playing this game for a long time. In the end its about having fun isn't it?

A parent playing could be a nice way to keep in touch over the years. I would hope that if I have a child that we can share something like Runescape, or some other hobby.

I know a couple of dads and moms who play Runescape, and I do enjoy talking with them. I learn a lot of things from them, about life and what to expect from it ("they're cute when they're still babies, when they reach 13 - OMG" :lol:).
