No, it's possible to have an aunt/uncle younger than you. then it would likely involve having a 50 yr old giving birth, which is very rare. The_Old_Nite was old, it doesn't matter if you're old just don't be creepy or weird. he was around 46 when he caught cancer. he was still middle aged, so not that old. spooferfish
In my experiences older people are better in the game, they manage money and time better :P I must not be old enough for that yet though.. :wall:
shauneus
I dont get it. Why would people pretend to be a runescape dad. Thread starter is obviously trying to. For an "old" man, that grammer is.. A tad awful. And he seems like a child to me. nah mate i aint a pretend dad im just not good at gramer lol my 12 yr old son plays this an so do i im glad i aint alone seems like a lot of older players enjoy this as well an if the people in the oer 30s clan need a new member just check my scores in hi scores and give me a shout in game my user name is the same shauneus all the way =D>

(however that is a different topic lol). ANYWHO!!! as i was going to chat on about.. there is no age limit on playing runescape, if you just so happen to have spare time and your bored of playing other online games or bowsing ebay and facebook lol... why just because your over the age of i dunno 19 (teenager) stops you playing a game! i am 20 does that make me old?? or just older than some of the people that play?? i dont know or dont care i enjoy the game and play it in my free time! (with my little brother and sister) haha
stonewall337
I would love to have my dad play with me, and I am almost an adult. I always enjoyed playing computer games with him when I was younger. Course, it would take him alot longer to get to my level, but doing GWD and things are more fun if the other person(s) are in the room. godofrock72
I really don't think age matters. But if you're 12 or under, you should be locked into Quick Chat like Jagex says. I like seeing people of all ages playing RuneScape. It really adds to the variety of cultures and personality in-game. That's one of the main reasons I like RuneScape. Proud member of The RuneScape Rebels
Omar
I'd rather see 48 years old invade RS than immature kids. I'm soon to be a Dad! Does that count? Also, some of the replies on this topic (especially the first response) highlight exactly what is wrong with some of the kids on this board. It wasn't like the OP was unreadable, stupid or rude. Why did it warrant that response? Should have been said nicely, but still, I find it hard to take people seriously if they don't think the conversation is worth typing out. Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude? Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you? Camera guy: still laughing Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy Camera guy: runs away still laughing Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Peterblue
I really like how, in this topic, it seems that the dads have the worst spelling and grammar out of everyone. I wonder what causes this. Click here to learn the best profit from MTK.
deathdrow
My dad plays, he started a few weeks after i started playing, and is much better than i am. Hes 114 combat and has 1800+ total, whereas I've only got 1550+ total and I'm level 103 combat. Although i don't often get the chance to do things in the game with him(as i have too short an attention span to play for more than a half hour.), when we do, it's fun. We used to fight the mole in fally a lot, but we both reduced the amount we play the game, because he's got a busier job now, and again, my attention span is too short. But having a parent play the game is awesome.
Aegis Titan
Hmm, makes me wonder if I ever pked dads... warren211
I have a friend who's 46 on RS. He's a very nice person. Was really generous to me before the trade limit too. Don't be hating on adult players, they probably get laid way more often than we do 8-) [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. chris924
For all of you "you are too old to play" kiddies, here is an interesting article: http://www.dmwmedia.com/news/2008/07/17 ... -are-women "Survey: Average U.S. Gamer Age is 35; 40% are Women" =D> Here is one specific to mmorpgs: http://www.nickyee.com/daedalus/gateway ... phics.html "It is easy to dismiss video games as pointless activities that only teenagers indulge in. The truth is that the average age of MMORPG players is around 26. In fact, only 25% of MMORPG players are teenagers. About 50% of MMORPG players work full-time. About 36% of players are married, and 22% have children. So the MMORPG demographic is fairly diverse, including high-school students, college students, early professionals, middle-aged home-makers, as well as retirees. In other words, MMORPGs do not only appeal to a youth subculture."
Opieous
Does it really matter if you are a dad or not? I'm 22, but not a father, my friend the same age has a son, Gaming is something we've grown up with and it is fun and we enjoy it; and most of "us" (including tif members) will continue playing this game for a long time. In the end its about having fun isn't it? 99 Woodcutting | 99 Constitution | 99 PrayerScapin since July 05'
NJE03
A parent playing could be a nice way to keep in touch over the years. Shyla
I know a couple of dads and moms who play Runescape, and I do enjoy talking with them. I learn a lot of things from them, about life and what to expect from it ("they're cute when they're still babies, when they reach 13 - OMG").
