Azvareth
This was on new year's eve, and I was about to refill my cellphone before heading out. My bank has this feature on their website if you log on to your account, it's very simple and there's usually no problems with it at all. Except this time. It said the amount I tried to fill my phone with (15eur) hadn't been completely transfered; that they were "frozen". So I can't use the money either, and it turns out there's only a 1% chance that they will ever come back. It's been 2 months and the money still hasn't shown up. I'm too lazy to call the bank to see if they can sort it out. I've got a subscription now. I've done a lot of shopping online, with a number of services that could easily have screwed me over - yet there's been no problems there. Funny that it would be my own bank that did it instead. IGoddessI
Well for Brent and I's anniversary, he ordered what he thought to be a dozen or more pink roses. I was just as happy receiving like 4 of them, it was cute. But when I accidentally found the price of them while browsing through the debit of bills etc to work out what kind of house we can afford to move in to (budgeting) and found he had spent well over $100 on them, I couldn't hold my tongue. I was like "Honey, those flowers were such a nice gesture, I love you and I really liked them but you have been ripped off, you need to go talk to them and get your money back." See the difference in picture and description for yourselves... What he ordered: What we actually got: They only wanted to give us half the money back and I said no you guys can learn your lesson that you can't falsely advertise and expect people to pay for it. If you don't give us the entire cost refund of the flowers, I'll just report your company which will have a lot worse outcome than paying back what is owed. So we got it all back in the end. As you can see they're clearly not the same roses, definitely not as many, and definitely not double budded. Moral of the story, get the same flowers from Woolworths for about 80 dollars less! Then use the left over 80 to buy chocolates, movie tickets and dinner ;) ;) The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours. stan18
I bought an mp3 player at amazon. Took like 3 days to ship even from the US. im confused; did you order it and receive it in three days, or did you order it, have to wait 3 days, then saw that it shipped? My worst experience occurred when I was the seller. It wasn't really a frustrating experience, it was just an ...omfg... experience. I was selling a pair of jeans on ebay. Simple enough, sold for $20 no problems... but i didn't get payment. I didn't get it for two weeks; i was figuring, okay, he'll pay eventually. He does, i ship out, glad that I don't have a package waiting to be shipped About a week later, I get an ebay message: Hi, in the specifications said a couple, and only sent one, I hope to receive one soon .. I check the listing... i say "a pair of jeans". Then i respond explaining how, in the american language, some things are plural but only refer to one thing, hence "pair" he responds ok, no problem, Plura put on jeans, is not the same as saying a pair of jeans. I resist responding back and let the issue die
BonScott
This just happened to me at the beginning of the week. I bought a zippo lighter online about 2 months ago, and the day finally came where there was a package from the zippo company. I rush inside and open it to find that I got some guys zippo case from Ohio. I send it back and after another month and a half later I get my lighter....well I just recently quit my part-time job (only 17 yrs old) and I dont very much money in my acc....and guess what.....they charge me for the zippo as soon as i get it instead of when i bought it.....not knowing this i go out and try to buy a couple of things and my card is rejected....turns out i got charged enough to put me in the negative in my account and then i get a charge from the bank....now im even more into the negative.... warri0r45
The few CDs I've ordered over the internet have been in perfect condition and packaging. The only downside I found with ordering over the net was shipping costs and exchange rates, but those things are to be expected.

indy500fan
I always get free shipping from amazon, usually takes around 5 days. The last thing I ordered though still hasn't come yet and it's been 10 days. Not 10 business days though.

I'm always happy when i get something in 3 days (thats rare, though. Some places (well, ebay mostly) you would expect them to take up to 3 days to even ship the order)

Kiriyama
Uhh dude, the PS2 was announced to be in development in March of 99. It first came out in Japan in 2000. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Joes_So_Cool
Well, she was being very cautious, she still to this day can only type with two fingers, and is very computer illiterate. This must have been at least 6 years ago. What happened was she was looking for a very reliable seller, and she found a guy with about 300 positive successful deals and only 2 negative ones, and they later said that he refunded them, so she thought, finally I can trust this guy, seems that his ebay account was hacked and the hacker scammed about 9,500 USD in December that year. I guess she personally didn't get scammed, but she had/has some deal with her credit card where she can claim false purchases or something along those lines, and she said she lost her credit card shopping and someone must have tried to buy a ps2 with it from ebay, the credit card company refunded her and I ended up getting a ps2 about 4 months later - when they started to not sell out immediately in the surrounding wal-marts. By the way, stfu *friend. Eh, oh well. I guess she scammed too -.- B4nz0r. Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

Kiriyama
Well, I honestly think so done the right thing in claiming the money back, though perhaps in the wrong way. I think, that since it was a situation outside her control, she should have got the money back by telling the truth, yet she played it safe. At least you got one in the end ^^, Seriously, if anyone was a dumb enough [bleep] to buy something that looked like a damn PS1 painted black, then they deserved to be freaking ripped off. Joes_So_Cool
Sword, you seem strangely familiar for some odd reason, I'm just now coming back to Tip since I quit RuneScape around hmm, 9-10 months ago now? I posted randomly in that time, but now that I'm back and have really gotten into off topic, I'm on for hours a day. I'm recognizing names left and right now and not knowing where I've seen them before, for all I know I could have just seen you post before, but I think I knew you.. or something. Kiriyama
Probably just saw me post before. Before about a year ago I used to post pretty often, so its quite likely you've seen my name before on this. That or if you've got multiple RS accounts it might be possible I knew you, that or the Tip.It clan chat if you ever used it.
