From experience it seems all the pros go to Xbox, but then again all the little kids tend to go there too for some reason (perhaps they think they're pro?). PS3 users tend to be average, well-balanced players; the majority are neither stupid nor insanely good. No offence, that's just mostly what I've seen.

PS3 guys are usually the older guys who just buy the PS3 for the blu-ray and its other capabilities, and the free online play. Thats why alot of people on PS3 arent amazingly good. They just play it to have fun, thats the true concept of the game.

Nah PS3 would win. I'm pretty sure there's like 750,000~ more PS3 players, there's no way Xbox would win regardless of skill.

I'd have more Stinger kills but kids kept kill stealing Chopper Gunners and Pave Lows after I'd fired the first rocket. They really should have made it any kill streaks, because 90% of the stuff I've shot down to get the CB challenges are Harriers.

My friend was knifing in Quarry, so he ran into the area with granite blocks behind the big building with the very high vantage point. Seeing him run (I couldn't hit him due to the stupid corners), I throw a semtex across the whole blocks of rock, and it lands on the opposite ends. The explosion killed him for a funny GWC. Man I love semtex.

 

Also, 2nd prestige is a pain because steam's servers keep going down for whatever reason *waits for Xbox360/PS3 fanboys to pounce*.

they gotta fix that too. if you are the initial cause of the flares, if it gets shot down after the flares are spent, it still counts as your kill as you were the one that used up one rocket to get the flares to deploy. AC130 would be a different case.

On the other hand, I just can't stand how playing on the X360 makes you any more pr0 - there's an equal share of really quite bad players on both consoles (and PC too, but that's slightly different).

Pretty much anything I can get into, I'll play. I've not played 3rd person Team Tactical (although I've joined a 3rd person ground war before), The first person variant, CTF, and Headquarters/Hardcore Headquarters. But mostly I play 6v6 TDM/Domination, since I'm not in the habit of getting assaulted from everywhere.

had a great day today; i wrecked kids in search.

 

one game, it was 1v1, the kid planted on karachi at B and hid upstairs in that window thing overlooking the bus. i heard him swapping weapons like a [wagon] so i looked up and headshotted him with my trusty spas12 at a range that shotguns should not be effective at. then, the bomb had 5 seconds left as soon as i picked it up to defuse. i was like "oh what the hell, why not try". got the defuse literally as time ran out. CLUTCH.

 

another great game was on sub base on defense. 3 times on D. first time, there was one guy (didnt have ninja pro lol) and i had planted a claymore near the silo area bomb on the right side (where the BMP was). i heard him run for like 20 sec, and i could tell he was coming out of the warehouse. i look left at the stairs that go straight to the bomb from the little platform, hear him make a turn right, i turn around, my claymor blows up, almost kills me, hitmarks him, and i knife immediate after the claymore goes for GWKC.

 

next round, it was 1v1 again. was in the same area, except i saw the kid on radar tubing from next to the BMP. i went to the warehouse with that minisub and looked out the window that looks across at the other building. i saw him run towards the bomb, and heard him climb onto the platform. i took out my shotty, aimed at the door, as soon as he comes in, BOOM! done.

 

last round, our whole team decided to stay back, so i put down a few claymores. i mightve killed all 6 guys this round. lets see....first kill was the tuber who was tubing from behind the BMP on the right side. 3 round burst FAL, done. next kill was from the minisub warehouse window looking towards the left (and the stairs leading up to the 2 structures with AC units on top). head shot through the window. then i saw my teammate die by the door leading to the catwalk that goes across practically to the other side of the map. i run up, look out that doorway, hitmark a kid with 2 shots, run back into cover because his teammate was also there and shot me a few. then my claymore that i put near the bomb on the right side blows up, giving me precision airstrike (and pred). call in the airstrike on the catwalk. it almost kills me, but the guy was unscathed. i pop back through the door, and i kill him as he tries to run into cover back to the little alcove. that gives me harriers. call in harriers on the bomb site in the middle of the map, kill the last guy. talk about PRO.

A 1v1 win is hardly a clutch.

yea, and they put in 1st person team tac. a MUCH better alternative. instead of one on one boosting, now you can do 4 people at a time! and it's easier for 8 people to get in because i think a party of 8 can play in team tac

Funny story on afgan domination. We couldn't capture B because some noob tubers over at A (they were hiding in the grass) were lobbing granades over to the B side by aiming straight up. After I finally got past a sniper guarding the guys, I got a 5 killstreak on the 3 guys hiding in the grass. After capping A and ending that stupid barrage of noob tubes, they tried desperately to recapture it over and over again, resulting in me killing them over and over again.

Long story short, I proceeded to troll them with an AC-130 and went 40-7. :thumbup:

Literally had 6 people boosting (wondering if it wasn't 7 + me) in a lobby for 3 games straight. Kept killing them, but got extremely old and I just left.

So my Xbox subscription renewal is coming up in a few weeks, and I've decided to make a new xbox account and put a years live on that rather than my old account. I want to start afresh on all my games, in terms of gamerscore and stats. I've come to the realisation that this game is broken. I played CoD4 again on my new account today for the first time in ages, and had so much more fun than on MW2.

 

The [cabbage]s just got too much for me, and they're never going to fix any of it. If Black Ops has all the same issues as MW2 has I'm not going to play it, I'll just go back to CoD4 or something. I'm going to play a mixture of CoD4/WaW, with some MW2 if my friends want to play it, until BO. I was initially defensive of this game, but I've just been worn down by all the BS that goes on in it. There is still fun to be found in this game, its just CoD4 is so much better, not just in terms of balance (or the lack of any), but in terms of maps and guns.

 

If anybody wants to add me for CoD4, WaW, MW2, hell even L4D and GoW then my new GT is "Dan Princeps".

 

Oh yeah, can someone answer my question about the WaW map packs from a couple of pages ago, I wanted to know whether if I bought the packs the game would match me to people who had the map pack, so everyone wouldn't skip everytime they came up. It's just that the map pack playlist is literally empty.
