Dork
When it comes to great weapons and armour there is plenty of choice in RuneScape. In fact there are so many different items its sometimes hard to keep track of them all. This is why we are introducing the pre-purchase advice tool. Before you buy anything from a shop, at the Grand Exchange, or from another player you can now check out what the bonuses of the item are, and, in the case of worn items, whether there are any restrictions that might prevent you from wearing them. You can use this tool to find out what skills you need to train, and what quests you need to complete, to use a particular item. Those of you who are in possession of a dragon platebody will see that it has undergone a graphical overhaul, as requested by you on the forums. Next, we have made a change to the equipped inventory screen for Ranged weapons, so now you can see the ranged strength of weapons like javelins, arrows and crossbow bolts. The fourth upgrade for this week will save you valuable seconds in times of need. The Prayer button near the minimap has undergone an overhaul so you can now set a prayer, or group of prayers, before you go into action, and activate or de-activate it with one click. The button will also indicate the loss of Prayer points by gradually fading out similar to the behaviour of the Hitpoints button. This should help prevent you accidentally running out of Prayer points, and finding yourself suddenly vulnerable to attack. As you may know, we recently made some changes to the Culinaromancers chest in Lumbridge and the gnome cuisine fruit n veg shop in the Grand Tree. We have now reconsidered these changes, and have decided to implement a different approach: we have returned the shops stock prices to their former state, and have removed the option to sell stock back to those shops. Finally, weve taken on board the feedback you gave us about last months quest list improvement, and made changes in response to some common issues. New text makes it clear when not all quests are shown, but the best improvements are behind the scenes: the options you set before you log out will be there again when you return, and we have greatly reduced the delay involved in switching the list between quests and achievements. Mod Fetzki RuneScape Content Team Leader Graphical * The horns on dragon medium helms no longer float on female players. This was fixed alongside the dragon armour update. * Fixed an issue amulets had when rendering with the dragon platebody. * The imp chathead is no longer a human head in an imp suit again! * Stopped a zombie from playing a human animation that made it appear to explode briefly. Zombies in RuneScape have enough to worry about without an irrational fear of spontaneous combustion. * Fixed a graphical issue with the light beams in the light maze from Mournings Ends Part II. Quests * Fixed an issue with the statues in Bandoss Throne Room after completing the Chosen Commander. * Slightly adjusted the logic in the final part of Chosen Commander. * Fixed an issue with the Chosen Commander quest journal not scrolling to the end when completed. * Your Magic interface will now be correctly restored after a certain point in Cold War. * Changed code to prevent the game crashing in HD mode during the Underground Pass quest. * Updated some of the Dragon Slayer code when you have to repair the boat. * Enhanced logic for the One Small Favour quest when making a drink from several ingredients. * Code dealing with Rantz and the Big Chompy Bird Hunting quest has now been properly fixed. * Fixed a problem with the Back to my Roots end fight in Low Detail. * In the Eyes of Glouphrie quest, Hazelmere was occasionally cutting the chat short mid conversation. This has been fixed. Minigames * Updated some arithmetic logic with Farmer Blinkin's Vinesweeper minigame. Miscellaneous * Weve slightly adjusted the way you make darts. * Bones can now be offered in varying quantities in the chapel in your Player-Owned House. * Updated several of the chat menu interfaces to a newer format. * Adjusted the newly re-written toybox code to better deal with male and female versions of clothing. * The gnomecopters have been removed as we no longer wish to advertise certain members' content in the free area. As a result, the Lumbridge Achievement Diary task has been changed to reflect this. If you've already taken a ride on a gnomecopter, you wont have to do the new task. * The Lumbridge Achievement Diary no longer tries to open the old-style quest list. * Prevented one particular object being given as a reward to free players in Random Events. * Removed a safe spot from PVP worlds where players couldn't attack each other. What a bunch of crybabies. Prepurchase information would be perfect if it also showed a graph of the GE pricing, so you can see if it's going up, going down in price, when I saw "prepurchase information" I thought that's what it would be. It is helpful nonetheless.

CowsEatFood
So I guess eagle eye and mystic might are members now.... And also retribution, redemption, and smite are f2p now. So maybe a good tradeoff...? Or just a glitch, I dunno.
Ned
Well, at least prayer won't be a wrist and reward situation anymore. Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum!

Dork
Wow, so pray is somewhat AFKable now o_O Could cause a price rise of d bones? You've got to be kidding me?!? Eagle eye removed from f2p for real or is it just a tweak?!GJ JAGEX! Prayer just seems to be a little bugged atm. This user is only 43 prayer yet is able to use Retribution, just something to do with the "quick prayer" addition, I assume, doubt it'll be long before it's fixed. Omali
Gnome Copters removed? Good. I knew Gnome Copters would be the first casualty when Mark Gerhard said "We're going to remove the annoying 'OMG GET MEMBURSHIP NAO' aspect of f2p" Mark my words: The start of Lost City will be moved (The adventurers you talk to currently say "you must be on a members server to use this") to some other location. compfreak847
Prayer offering? That both scares and makes me really really hope it's close to as fast as it was. I hated clicking on bones, if offer all is anything close to the speed it used to be I'm going to get 99 prayer. If it isn't, well.. Bones will drop :P Drops: 1x Draconic Visage, 56x Abyssal Whip, 5x Demon Head, D Drops: 37, Barrows Drops: 43, DK Drops: 29GWD drops: 14,000x Bars, 1x Armadyl Hilt, 2x Armadyl Skirt, 4x Sara Sword, 1x Saradomin Hilt, 8x Bandos Hilt, 8x Bandos Platebody, 9x Bandos Tassets, 4x Bandos Boots, 43x Godsword Shard, 82x Dragon BootsDry streak records: Saradomin 412 kills Bandos 988 kills Spirit Mages 633 kills - Slayer Sucks

Great Update! and we have greatly reduced the delay involved in switching the list between quests and achievements. This is good, but I wish they would fix the lag when clicking on the quest interface too. I always lag when I click on the quest menu. Even after I have loaded it previously. * Bones can now be offered in varying quantities in the chapel in your Player-Owned House. Slightly slower XP > Broken wrists All good updates this week! Omali
Good update, overalll. This meets exactly what they said they were going to do, improve the game but also add in new content as well. It's nearing April and I've yet to see an old area be updated to make it useful, but that's always down the pipeline I guess. Oh well. The update benefits those who need it without detracting from those who don't. Another week with no distractions to fishing, so back to the monkfish I go. Crazy monks...Get out of the water. You are not fish, you are monks. You can barely swim in those robes.

Great Update!I've never personally needed to activate protect from melee and piety at exactly the same moment. For me, it's more like PFMon, PIETYon, PFMoff, PIETYoff. All in 2.4 seconds. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
