March 25, 200917 yr I am personally sick of all the Make X options being added. It seems the whole game is no longer a game of skill, but a game of who can sit at the computer longest. I am sorry, but I would rather have the Make X option removed on numerous things, such as cut x at barbarian fishing, make x for fletch, burn x for bones, etc. Slows it down for those who are willing to work hard in the game.
March 25, 200917 yr There's a line between working hard, and just ridiculous. I am very glad they implemented offer X, even if I am losing a bit of time. And I don't agree with people who say that clicking repetitively counts as "working hard", it's more of a test of endurance in my eyes. Maybe they should have a feature that allows you to turn off the "X" features if you don't want to use them. That way, everyone is happy 5,693rd to 99 Slayer on 10/08/2009

I personally like the X options, allows me to chat via msn or watch tv while training yet another skill. UPDATIN SIGGY ^,^
March 25, 200917 yr Pretty satisfied with the Dragon Platebody. Thank god the arms are different and beefed up more. I was still expecting a bit more gaudy like the Bandos Platebody but it is definitely much more pretty than it was. Love the small upgrade to the legs too - yay for a cohesive set of armor! Range update I found...weird at most. That skill is weird enough to decide on what affects accuracy vs power, let alone now. I'm interested to see now if we get certain equipment that specifically raises the Range Strength of ammunition. Though this does make me worried for the future of Magic even more so than I had been before. I know Jagex has said they are looking into, if not working on, an update to Magic...just want to know when it'll be released and what it is. Only really happy about the Dragon Platebody being updated...Prayer update was rather dumb to me...I never put on two prayers at the same time all the time. On/Off switch is useful, but the multiple prayer is pointless. I wonder if this is the update that a Mod was talking about when he mentioned he was working on a prayer update but needed to test it more because anything related to combat must be tested or something like that... March has been kind of a blah month for me. But I don't mind, new content only seems to put me further and further behind everyone else. Gives me a chance to get my stats up without having to compete with others over locations because there's a new update that requires a high level.

That way, everyone is happy I would say it takes a lot more discipline in order to do tedious skills rather than to hit make x and just sit there. That was the point I as trying to make. I do believe that they should have an option to turn off make X. I believe that if a person wants to do tedious skills in a tedious method, they should gain more xp and that should be their option.

Why? It'll just be another thing people can discriminate against. x-noob will be the next thing. I honestly don't know why people complain, the pray-x thing isn't even faster than clicking so what's the problem? Not everybody likes damaging their wrists because they're 'so uber leet and no x-nub luzer'. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
March 25, 200917 yr I don't quite understand why people complain when I would like a toggle option to turn make x off. I do not complain if people take the easy way out, that is their choice. For instance, if the toggle option were available, I would probably keep it on for cooking and skills such as that, because I find them a little relaxing every now and then, but I do think it should be the players choice to hurt their wrist if they wish to gain more xp per hour. But what would it hurt you to make the option up to the player? And I remember in the old days, when you didn't like to do a skill, the solution was that you just didn't train it. Now-a-days, when people don't like a skill, they get make x on it making it afkable. I don't see the fun in that at all. If I am going to take time out of my day, I would like to actually play they game rather than look at the screen every minute to see if my make x is done and I need to click again.

I personally don't care how someone would train there skill, it's the fact that a LOT of people out there will start the sort of 'OMG NOOB USING X YOU NOOB' and it's just going to annoy people. Using X doesn't mean you're afking either. I never afk when I'm x-ing something. I just stare at the screen and watch those lobsters a'cookin, the only difference is I'm not burning my finger whizzing it across this laptop mouse pad every second. And people don't x a skill because they don't like it. If I don't like a skill I just don't do it *shrugs* I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator].
March 26, 200917 yr I understand your point, but look at it from a different example: Say you live out in the open country and your street is 2 miles long to the nearest road. Everyday you speed 60 MPH along that street, to reach the main road, since there is no speed limit there. Now all of a sudden, the government shows up and puts a 30 MPH speed limit on your street. Why was the speed limit put there? The 8+ years you traveled down your street you never had a problem going 60+ MPH. Why must you now go 30MPH? Now Jagex has put that 30 MPH speed limit sign on your prayer street. It was for safety reasons, as they determined going at wrist breaking speeds is simply not safe. Ya, maybe you can handle the 60 MPH, but Jagex does not want to be liable for someone crashing going 60 MPH. I agree that an option to turn off the x-make options would be desired, but the Government isn't going to put "30 MPH if you want to" speed limit signs. I don't know that Jagex would compromise its players physical safety by allowing players to speed and get down prayer street 60 seconds faster.
March 26, 200917 yr * The gnomecopters have been removed as we no longer wish to advertise certain members' content in the free area. As a result, the Lumbridge Achievement Diary task has been changed to reflect this. If you've already taken a ride on a gnomecopter, you wont have to do the new task. In normal Jagex cryptic fashion, I have the feeling this has a lot more meaning than they're revealing right now. Speculators, we all know I normally don't trust you enough to get my morning coffee without screaming bloody murder about some hint or another, but I think this merits some investigation. I'm going to look into what areas the gnome copters traveled to to see what exactly Jagex doesn't want advertised to nonmembers, maybe one of these areas is going to be axed/updated. You know the rules. Anyone says sailing...

March 29, 200917 yr I see/hear a bunch of confusion for these new updates... I should go on RS and test some things out. And I miss the Gnomecopters, why did they get taken out? They were a good way to see member stuff. I tried some of the prayers, for Eagle Eye and Mystic Might they give a message saying you have to be on a member server to use, but still works and drains prayer. For the Retribution and some other one doesn't say you have to be member, but refuses to activate on F2P server. Hope the glitches will be completely fixed soon...
March 29, 200917 yr So the main part of this update, pre-purchase advice, isn't even getting any attention. :XD: Personally, I find it almost useless. :? The prayer update seems to be the bigger update that actually happened.
