Dullmage
About the penguin submarine...[hide=taken from postbag 34]This letter has been edited by the Postmaster Penguin Mornin Murder wink1, Do we ever plan to move? Thats down to Staff Sergeant ******* . Hell only reassign us if we go mad, and nobody mad would want to be reassigned. We call it Catch Twenty-Tuna. As for not being able to fly, well we may not be able to go up, but think of all the other directions that a penguin can approach an enemy: left, right, down, inside, outside, clockwise, on our bellies, dressed as a sheep, dressed as a penguin dressed as a sheep, in a giant underwater ****** and upside your head. And those are just options I came up with while writing this letter. Private ******[/hide] The asterik parts were blacked out..
Caromon
So there are 3 new quests (FTP3, Myreque, and Desert) with not much else said about them. Also the FTP3 quest will happen after the next language addition (Brazillian Portuguese) There also will be a Mahjarrat (might be spelled wrong) ritual soon and a Mahjarrat must be sacrificed, probably in the north. I assume this is why many Mahjarrat are trying to gain power, so they aren't the ones who have to be sacrificed. If "muspah" does mean leader or something like that the Mahjarrat are debating whether or not to revive Zaros or another leader as Magzar said. There is also the penguin submarine which we will probably have to sneak on it with a different disguise, like as a fish of some sort. Then there is something about grace, pain, and the rhythm of blood restarting. Some definitions of grace are: 1.unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification(to consencrate or set apart to religious use) 2.a virtue coming from God 3.a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace So with aid from consencrating comes a price. This might tie in with other quests of be something totally different. Then the sirrah(may be temple knights/Sir Tiffy Cashien)which could mean the whole order will die or just their leader. Sheds I am guessing is tearshedding so people will be sad about the loss of Sir Tiffy or the Temple Knights. Thats all I've got.
da_brainiacjr
Grace brings the pain. The rhythm of blood begins anew. Don't know about the grace/pain part. A heartbeat is awakened --> Someone from before is revived? --> Zaros comes back? To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. FREE! --> Fairy tale quest is completed at the same time of grandmaster quest? So myreque, fairy, and desert all in one quest? Your character also saves everyone? June... in Bennath. --> something about time, June could be a person, that i don't know. The Red Raktuber flies at midnight. (Well, maybe not 'flies'.) Regardless, I'm about to descend into a ventricle of darkness, and I don't know which hat to wear: swordfish, octopus, lobster? Peguins underwater? The Red Raktuber "dives, not flies?" at midnight? You go into heart of darkness in a penguin ship? Mogre hats? (Heart of Darkness, Zaros "resting" place? Not sure if he's dead.) "Wake the muspah. Don't wake the muspah!" - and that's just the first of them! Syzygy nearing: Ritual too. Watch those scopes and learn what you can before it occurs. Ralvash was last, who is next? Me? You? No, we're not one of them. Muspah is Chaos Elemental's name for Zaros? Majharrat can't decide whether to revive him or not? Allignment of planets is the time to revive Zaros? WOM's telescope used to find out when it's happening? Ralvash was the last one to be sacrificed for Zaros's return, so one last person might be needed to sacrificed to revive him. Not your character. Now, where are those keys? Ah yes, the keys are left of Mr E Frdrty Wirdy and Mr E Utwrwir Wirdy. What a curious village. New desert quest and new myreque quest. Not sure about the curious village?... A village that's been getting too deep into those affairs? Sheds are heavy; Sirrah is dead. Shed, related to the shed to zanaris? Sirrah, not sure if it means someone in command? Related to white knights? King of Falador is dead? What about thing under Wise Old Man's bed? King of Falador? No, maybe not. I agree with most of this, i still think there's more to that reference than just a new language. Does jagex refer to the new language as "brazilian Portugese" or just portugese? I don't think it makes a difference, and i still think if it was just about the language they would have referenced portugal more directly, rather than brazil. actually i just did some digging, and it looks like i might be wrong. How dull. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. Theoknight2
To me, the bit about "lobster, octopus, swordfish" is obviously an update about octopus fishing, maybe from a giant submarine. The sheds are heavy bit, seems like an invasion by the Temple Knights to liberate the Fairy Queen/ eradicate the fairies cuz they're racist. Sir Tiffie dies. strilmus
Elementals are more concept than physical beings, but unlike many concepts, it is possible to beat them up and take their stuff. But yes, it is sort of fun. I mean, if you look at the earlier chaos correspondence and look at the new quest, it's obvious that the tiny random message is from Baba Yaga. How exactly that happened to be in there, we have not much of a clue.

AndyPandy
Ahaha! What a curious village. I now know what that refers to. It's the deserted village just outside the barrows. It's said right after talking about a new myreque quest. So the new myreque quest will probably take place mostly in that village. So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth, These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf, Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in, Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything, Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel, Tear up the book and write your own damn rules, Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got, And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut, And realise that the other world that you're always looking for, Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door, And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas, After all, you were put on the earth to do this, So shine your light so bright that all can see, Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be. I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. This obviously hints at the Fairy quests, which seems to be planned in June. From the sound of it it looks like they're working towards the finale for that series. The Red Raktuber flies at midnight. (Well, maybe not 'flies'.) Regardless, I'm about to descend into a ventricle of darkness, and I don't know which hat to wear: swordfish, octopus, lobster? This seems to be a very strong hint towards some sort of submarine contend. Red Raktuber = Red October, a Russian submarine from a book, movie and video game. The "flying" remarks could mean moving underwater. The fish references also point at something involving water. i think there may be a new f2p fish ( octopus ) as swordfish and lobster are both f2p fish, this would update f2p ( which he said he would do and its a fishing update ) or i could be on the wrong track and it will ammount to nothing. or you could take a submarine and go p2p fishing for octopus? It's said right after talking about a new myreque quest. So the new myreque quest will probably take place mostly in that village. Very good idea there. Could be that or a new village in Morytania, maybe Darkmeyer. By the way, I saw that 'new desert quest' and 'new myreque quest' are placed right behind eachother, and I remembered an idea I had a while ago. Some sort of bridge from the desert to southern Morytania. It would certainly liven up that area. Almost no one ever goes there, except for quest, because it's so hard to reach. To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. Take the first letter of each word (bolded) and you get: Fairy Tale (with correct capitalisation!) FREE! could mean three I think this guy here pretty much solved that one (good job btw :). To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. Could this possibly be a hint at a new land? The line from the song Brazil has nothing to do with a fairy storyline(and to be honest i don't see what people are associating the word fey with fairy as it doesn't even come close to meaning fairy.) And just to clear that up Magzar, fey doesn't have anything to do with fairies, but it doesn't say fey, the letters says fay. And fay means fairy. EDIT: Elementals are more concept than physical beings, but unlike many concepts, it is possible to beat them up and take their stuff. But yes, it is sort of fun. I feel kind of sorry for the Chaos Elemental. He has all these thoughts and feelings crazing through his head, nonstop, never one moment of silence, always noise, disorder.... chaos! And there is no-one on this planet that he can share his feelings with, because to us it sounds like a lot of rambling. He is all alone :(. Silver_Corner
I think its a good idea to take a look at the first postbag, and this one, to combine them together. Ralvash is gone; Muspah, famous, sleeps with the fishies, if fishies frozen could be. That's where the shadows are shadowed, and even the delvers don't dare. Bizarre: one day it's almost time for a shadow to shift - and a shadow to open its unblinking, empty eye. "Wake the muspah. Don't wake the muspah!" - and that's just the first of them! Syzygy nearing: Ritual too. Watch those scopes and learn what you can before it occurs. Ralvash was last, who is next? Me? You? No, we're not one of them. Firstly, the first one contains the message about Ralvash, who we now know is a Mahjarrat. Also the second message contains information about the "Mahjarrat Meeting" which the time has almost come for. To me it sounds like "muspah" is another name for "Mahjarrat", since it talks about waking them. Azzandra also talks about the Mahjarrat entering a death sleep for long periods of time. The "sleeps with the fishies, if fishies frozen could be" phrase from the first message could mean that some of them are sleeping in a death sleep frozen in some ice. Or perhaps frozen in time. "Ralvash was last, who is next? Me? You? No, we're not one of them." Ralvash was the last Mahjarrat to die, but who is the next one to die? Not me or you, since we are not one of the Mahjarrat. But Lucien is. "one day it's almost time for a shadow to shift - and a shadow to open its unblinking, empty eye." More conclusive evidence that perhaps the other Mahjarrat are meeting to rise Zaros from his grave, but for what purpose? PS. Its a silly theory but what if "Watch those scopes and learn what you can before it occurs." refers to the Wise Old Man. What if the WOM is actually a Mahjarrat? They are not all accounted for and he certainly has the power of one, and the motives, eg. the Desire to find the Stone of Jas. (Eye of Saradomin which the Runecrafting Guild is doing research on.) Just a wild theory tho.

Just a wild theory tho. It seems some people are arguing about waking the Muspah; but it seems illogical to me that the Mahjarrat, who are putting themselves in death sleep would wake them up again. But I don't know. It could be Guthix too of course, and the sentence is spoken by a Guthixian. They're arguing if they should wake up Guthix because the Edicts of Guthix are violated. Seems to indicate the Myreque Questline, where the Edicts play a growing part. One more thing: The letter advises us (I think) to "watch our scopes", and that sentence is placed between other hints about the Mahjarrat. The Ritual is supposedly about an allignment of planets. So I think maybe we're going to be able to watch the planets with a telescope and see when they allign, in our POH's or in the Observatory. Jard_Y_Dooku
I think the "What a curious village." is likely a reference to Witchaven, seeing as there appear to be references for Sir Tiffy and the Temple Knights... So perhaps we've now got 4 quest line continuations that are happening this year? Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
