Might want to add in a section on how to act. F2p and p2p are diffrent..on f2p you can get away with begging..on members? Meh you would be flamed for it. People also tend to be more polite.

Also i know a lot of new members want to get there hands on dragon asap..i see you've linked to the heros quest but perhaps the others like lost city to?

Im sure theres lots more to add to it..and i wouldn't want to make life easy for you pokemama so im sure i can think up some more stuff later. :P

I think behaviour is a little too subjective for a guide.

i think its a good guide, but with the wait till lv 70-80 you dont have to, buy that time on F2P you'd prob have quit from boredom, and with the anytime aka lv 3, prob not so good, incase you spend half the time wondering around *figuring out what the shears* are for.

*example*

7 years playing, no respect and no phat. talk about owned wth a capital "O"

New Members should also work on fletching (A fairly good money maker). This means stocking up on bars, logs, feathers, etc. One can usually get 70-75 fletching within two weeks (around 2 hours per day). It is an easy skill and also a good moneymaker (And you can sell your products).

Guide has been updated in the first post - please take a look and post any comments you have, as this is slated to become a "real" guide very soon.

Bambino is working on some pictures for it right now.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

First off, great guide. If only I knew of these fourms and this guide was around four months ago.

The best part for me was the when to become a member. I often hear people say to wait for very high skills. I was one with 24 combat and >500 skill total. Training and money making is A LOT easier on members.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to updates.

Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651

Yes most definitely pictures. Pictures is what keeps me reading. Anywho, make sure to mention more on the agility section. You said basically just go to the link. All the others have a little mini reading for each one. You could say something along the lines of "Agility is helpful along the lines of short cuts, reaching new areas, and let you run more often." You can make your own intro but that would make it look better.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Dude, you caught me. I'll add something there, thanks.

Satenza, I knew Leesters was wanting such a guide, and I PM'd him with a link and asked for comments. He read it but didn't respond (presumably busy) :(. So if you contact him, try to get him to read it and comment, willya? I really want to know what he might have to say.

my lil cousin just became a member after playing about 2 weeks. I asked him why and he said he ran outa bankspace :?...i went from may 2002-mid-2004 before i became a member...that is crazy.

and i was watching him play...there isnt a lot he can do, and i feel bad for him because of it, and i was glad that i waited til around 70 combat to become a member...now im 106 combat, and members is easy..but in fair warning.

PLAY F2P UNTIL YOU BECOME BORED WITH IT, GOING FROM FREE TO MEMBERS IS A MASSIVE CHANGE AND YOU WILL BE OVERWHELMED WITH THINGS TO DO.

Starting the Giant Dwarf quest unlocks Keldagrim, underground home of the dwarves. {not sure if this is true, or if non-questers can go there too?}

If you go to Keldagrim, you automatically start the Giant Dwarf quest. So, yeah, it's true that you need to start the quest to access Keldagrim, but starting the quest is more an effect of going to Keldagrim :P

Don't know if this has already been posted, can't be bothered to read trough 4 pages.

May I suggest to mention the quest "recepie for disaster". Basically anyone can do the introduction part - and getting access to the bank chest in Lumbridge is VERY handy for a new member.

Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
