May 18, 200917 yr Jesus Nadril, I could say the same about you, simply because I do not like the games you play. Grow the [bleep] up. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
May 18, 200917 yr Yes, every game will be terrible to someone. If we all had the same tastes, it'd be boring. But damn, they're a good way to pass time. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
May 18, 200917 yr ^ Yes and that's all there is to them. Arguing about realism in a video game is beyond [developmentally delayed]ed, that is, unless the game specifically says "this is 100% how it is in the real world (which is something you nerds know nothing about!)" which I have never seen. It's probably what Duke Nukem Forever would've said.
May 18, 200917 yr Majora's Mask. :o Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. For funsies. - Lenticular J"Isn't it pathetic how everything in our society is built around someone screwing someone else out of their money?" - killerbeer0 on American SocietyRebdragon can't wiz a woz.

Wha? Maybe for some types of games, but lets take Sports Games for example. More realistic features is definitely a good thing and the companies take advantage of this by making the next game incrementally more realistic (most of the time). If you remember NFL Blitz, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
May 18, 200917 yr I think that the majority of people in this thread need to take some deep breaths. Personally, I consider Half-life, Half-life 2, and their mods/games that use their engine to be the best video games. Half-life, Counter-strike, Day of Defeat: source, Team fortress 2, Portal, and Half-life 2 + episodes 2-3 are all awesome. Plus free mods can't be beat. Sourceforts; Pirate, Vikings, and Knights II, and Natural Selection are some of my favorites. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
May 19, 200917 yr I'm gonna have to say Sword won that, Nads :| Every SSB game has a good feel to it - competitive, one of the things Nintendo doesnt particularly have, a great game to play with friends and by yourself. Thats not bias. I dont need a siggy no moar.
May 19, 200917 yr We were arguing? All I saw was sword doing his nerd rage routine. :) I love you. You kinda remind me of house. (The doctor from the tv show) TF2 is up there. Also Oblivion, Warcraft 3, and Starcraft. 8,180WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME#1 Wongtong stalker.Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!
May 19, 200917 yr Nadril Post Junkie Posts: 18914 Joined: Sun Jun 20, 2004 9:23 pm :| I never said it was an argument - but Sword won whatever it was. I dont need a siggy no moar.

If you remember NFL Blitz, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. You're right about Sports games, I hardly ever play those so I didn't consider them. But when it comes to FPS games... [bleep] realism. If only more modern shooters would have less of that, maybe they would actually be enjoyable. Why don't you [bleep] realise its not the only [bleep] game I have. Unlike other games in the FPS genre now, it had a story, and if I could be [bleep] bothered, I would add in my list of PS2 games. Infact, I still find games such as Super Mario 64 enjoyable. Face it, we all have different [bleep] tastes. I rarely pay attention to damn reviews as it doesn't say anything about what I would enjoy. Don't [bleep] judge me based on one game in my collection. Face it, I'm only [bleep] 17, so I've not been around for a lot of the classics, and its [bleep] better than being a media tool and judging games based upon what they say. Also quoting this because it's the funniest damn thing I've read all day.
May 19, 200917 yr Chrono Trigger is still my favorite game and vote for best game ever. Out of all the FF games I didn't really like VIII and IX. I happened to like V which many would argue is horrible. Ponies!
May 19, 200917 yr Fallout 2, Homeworld, or X-Wing. Yes, all are from the '90s AND each are a different genre :o
May 19, 200917 yr K-K-K-Kingdom Hearts Followed by Final Fantasy, Half-Life, and Pokemon in no particular order.
May 19, 200917 yr Mega Man 2. That's all I'm gonna say. 8-) Click the "Signed in as..." go to Manage ignored users, copy paste Toki_Hakurei.I'm pretty sure having boobs is the most broken super power anyone can ever have. 0_0
May 19, 200917 yr I got half life 2 on 360, it doesn't seem that good... It might be because trying to aim on Ps2/360 controls hasn't always been my thing. Doomy edit: I like sheep
May 21, 200917 yr I wouldn't pay attention to Nadril, guys. :D MOTHER 3 ftw. Yeah, I think at one point we've all been/are going to be ripped apart by him :P I recall his name solely because of that (was about a music project, before I liked music). Hmm... favorite game.... there's so many to choose from. I keep getting cravings for Zelda games though, specifically WW and the N64 eras.
May 21, 200917 yr Tetris there is no game better. If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.
May 21, 200917 yr Yeah, I think at one point we've all been/are going to be ripped apart by him :P I recall his name solely because of that (was about a music project, before I liked music). No offence to Nadril but hes extremely biased when it comes to suggesting games. I dont think he would play many games that havent been praised as much as the ones he plays :| I dont need a siggy no moar.

I just have a high standard is all and don't waste time and/or money on crap.
May 21, 200917 yr But the fact is, not every game is crap. You just wont give them chances. I hated FPS' until I played CoD5, and CoD5 isnt even considered a "great" game I dont need a siggy no moar.

I hated FPS' until I played CoD5, and CoD5 isnt even considered a "great" game Which is a purely subjective matter. I personally didn't like CoD5 terribly much, although Zombie Nazi's are awesome. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
May 21, 200917 yr But the fact is, not every game is crap. You just wont give them chances. I hated FPS' until I played CoD5, and CoD5 isnt even considered a "great" game I give every game I can a fair shot, but a lot of times I'm not going to waste a rental fee and/or buy a game (or even bother pirating) if it is pretty universally known it is crap. I'm not even sure what you're talking about anyways, what games haven't I given a chance and why does it even matter.
