June 5, 200917 yr English is my first language, and I'm trying to learn French. I got an A* in it at GCSE and am cruising to a D/E at best for AS Level, I've gone so far backwards in the past year thanks to having the worst human being I've ever met for a teacher (no matter how hard you try with this woman you still fail). I would LOVE to be fluent in French though, seriously looking at sandwich courses with a year abroad for university, even though it's got no relevance as I'll probably be studying anatomy or physiology lol. I took Spanish in high school because that is what I took in middle school. But personally I wish I would have taken French. I just think the language has a beauty that I didn't find in Spanish. June 15, 200917 yr I speak fluent Swedish, and can almost speak Finnish (But not quite). I got stuck in a Swedish school a couple years ago, learned it in a year. Finnish I've been working at for almost eight years. Really though, the only way you can properly learn a language is to get forced into it. :|

June 15, 200917 yr I speak Dutch, and English and I should be able to help myself in French as well. But my French isn't that great but I'm happy with it. As long as I can speak English it's ok for me. :D Actually I like English better than Dutch.
