English is my first language, and I'm trying to learn French. I got an A* in it at GCSE and am cruising to a D/E at best for AS Level, I've gone so far backwards in the past year thanks to having the worst human being I've ever met for a teacher (no matter how hard you try with this woman you still fail). I would LOVE to be fluent in French though, seriously looking at sandwich courses with a year abroad for university, even though it's got no relevance as I'll probably be studying anatomy or physiology lol.

I'm currently trying out different languages that I have an interest in, but have not found one to focus on. Thus I know a bit of Japanese, Chinese, Russian...

But I mainly know Spanish due to education from school. <3:

I only know English at the moment. I did take Spanish in high school, but forgot most of it. Would love to learn Japanese someday.

Oh, I also know some swear words in a couple different languages. But honestly, who doesn't know at least a handful?

Hello. How are you?

Hello (Exclusively responsive). I'm good, and you?

I'd like to see some other languages, some of them look really fascinating.

At the moment only English. But next year, freshman year in HS, I plan on taking either Spanish or French.

I took Spanish in high school because that is what I took in middle school. But personally I wish I would have taken French. I just think the language has a beauty that I didn't find in Spanish. In my opinion, that is.

German:

Hallo, wie geht's dir?

Ich bin gut, und du? (or Sie, if you're being polite)

Ich bin gut.

Hello. How are you?

I'm good, and you?

I'm good.

Best word though: Eichhörnchen. It means squirrel. Pronounced ike-hern-shen.

Or Haferflocken. Means oatmeal.

English is my first language, I can converse in French and read it, but I can't write it. I also speak bits of Welsh 8-) and Dutch which I am trying to get around to teaching myself.

I <3: german. I'm studying that at GCSE right now, dropped spanish, I'm ok at it, but I really hate it.

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

I speak both Japanese and English with fluency.

mssigqc5.jpgI do English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation for free! Just keep it under 5 sentences, and PM me to use my fluency in Japanese to your advantage!

I speak fluent Swedish, and can almost speak Finnish (But not quite). I got stuck in a Swedish school a couple years ago, learned it in a year. Finnish I've been working at for almost eight years.

Really though, the only way you can properly learn a language is to get forced into it. :|

Aside from English, I'm forced to learn Mandarin as part of my syllabus. So yeah.

I speak Dutch, and English and I should be able to help myself in French as well.

But my French isn't that great but I'm happy with it.

As long as I can speak English it's ok for me. :D

Actually I like English better than Dutch.
