It's fine either way, I'd assume most people would expect the forum since the position is on the forum. :P

 

Pretty strange IMO: we've only ever had one application ever before the crewbie one. And now we have had applications for almost every possible job on TIF in the last 6 months.

 

TETAU hasn't ran one for almost a year now. (and TET too I think)

 

The last official recruitment drive for TET and AU was April-June 07 so two years ago.

Based on the last applications if you are declined then you will be sent a PM - However you won't be sent one until after the applications are closed I believe.

Im losing confidence reallyy fast.

Judging by how I post, I'm not probably deserving, but I might send in an application because I see the section "stuff you'd like to see added".

If we received a temp ban from the forums, are we automatically disqualified, even if the temp ban was issued a few years or more ago?

We will take into account any offences, but mainly the severity of them would be considered, as well as if you have learnt from prior mistakes. A temporary ban does not rule your chance out at all. :)

Last round of applications, a good chunk were below the one thousand post count mark, so it doesn't matter. What matters is the quality of the posts when they go through your posts in your profile. I think a user was made a mod with 300 posts or something last round or before that...Not sure, but it was less than 500.

You would not want to help your friends, you would want to crush them! :twisted:

 

 

 

Post count is not a serious factor, we just need a substantial amount to go on to make a decision, though it frequent areas of inactivity emerge it may weaken your chances.

 

 

 

And any computer you use will need good security, if you were to use a computer you were not fully sure of and it did have a virus for example, we wouldn't be too 'chuffed' at your account being stolen/tampered with. :P

If it's been long ago enough and you've shown improvement, I'm sure they'll forgive. But bare in mind a lot/most users are rejected because of their history.

I think i applied when they had this mod application run when i was newly registerd back in 07, had something like your post count. I suppose you could give it a try anyways =P
