June 24, 200917 yr Author O.K, I posted movies that are things everybody should see. Watchmen didn't do anything, Casino Royale isn't all that great compared to some movies, and you took that first quote out of context since it is telling you to vote for your favorite out of the two movies provided...I'm looking for movies that are must see's not the exactly the best movies ever but ones that changed the industry, ones that inspired a generation, one that brought an icon to stardom.

Secondly, I think that a lot of those movies are not meritous enough to be on any list of movies that are "good". I've already provided my selections a few pages back. It's all too unorganized to be named official. This should just be a topic where people vote for the better of two movies and not a "Tip.It's 100 Movies to see before you die" list. I think what i suggested earlier was better [hide=better voting method]What about opening a new thread where people can rank 10-20 movies of the compiled list giving each movie a rank between 1 to 10. June 26, 200917 yr Something about Jackass and all Jackass movies entertains me so much that I can't stop laughing. Holy crap, I mean, it's not meaningful or even that influential, and we can all understand that, but it's just really entertaining, I'm sorry. It even influences me to look at life in a positive view. It has that effect on me. I'm probably not going to make a list, at least not now, although I am having a good time reading this thread.

Coping the concept could mean altering the number, but keeping the fundamental idea, that of creating a list of movies which you enjoy, and think others should view.
