chonchoso
I was using lunar spell NPC contact and noticed many tiny but curious things. Such as ... >That you can talk to camels , cows and sheeps withought having to wear any pendant(camulet) do cows even talk...¿? >That there are toilets at runescape, yes toilets, dont ask me where ut there are, somewere... >That the lumbridge guide has done something naughty. >That the wise old man doesn´t let you get on his mind by magic. And many other suff u might want to try out by doing the spell , you´ll find your surprises . But what really caught my attention was a dialogue , no not the toilet one, one with Evil Dave , well shall we call him Evil...? The dialogue was the following: ME: Hallow DAVE:Whoa! A voice in my head! What do you want? ME: I am your evil master (evil laugh) DAVE: You´re using dark magic to contact me! That is SO evil! What is the bidding, O Master?ME:Build me an army worthy of Zamorak! DAVE:Yes O Master! As soon as i get this summoning thing to work, my army of evil UNDEAD CHAOS ZOMBIE DEMON ASSASSINS OF DARKNESS will overrun the world! Mwuahahahaaa! maybe just Jagex fooling around , but can it be? PS: srry i couldn´t just put the image of the dialogue... Quest Cape achieved on 27/4/09but nomad is preventing me to get it back... New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its wayGrunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the wayPunk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strongTechno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrongYea!Metal! It comes from hell! magzar
there are no toliets in runescape. period. maybe the toilets are instanced. it works that way in harry potter Does that mean that if you die while sitting on the toilet your Gravemarker will now appear outside the entrance, somewhere upwind? Cause if you die whilst using one, I doubt you're going to be able to do it yourself. Edit: And, yes, there are toilets. You know how Runescape is supposed to be set in an age equivalent to the Middle Ages? And you know buckets, right? I'll let you do the math. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased. The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Worldwide thermonuclear war? Pie eating contest?

Ravenkana
Edit: And, yes, there are toilets. You know how Runescape is supposed to be set in an age equivalent to the Middle Ages? It's set during the Renaissance.Actually, different areas are set in different times. Most human kingdoms are set during the High Middle Ages. You have monarchy's, for the most part, and the equipment and architecture supports this. You may point out cannons to refute this, but fortresses had been utilizing them for stationary defense in Europe since the 1000s. The Dwarves are mid Industrial Revolution. They utilize steam power, advanced metallurgy, and are ruled by corporations. The Dorgeshuun are probably in the early Modern Era- think 1910-1930. They still use steam power, like in the train, but they utilize electricity for a great many purposes. True, their weaponry is primitive, but that's only because they rarely fight. Al-Kharid and the Kharidian Desert are somewhat mixed. First, you have the more advanced cultures, very similar to the Middle East in the 1500s, bar the application of gunpowder or medicine. Menaphos and Sophanem are basically bronze age Egypt with Middle Age tech. I have no equivalent for the Gnomes or Elves- given the heavy application of magic, there is no real world example. You know what would be cool? If Jagex released quests about a prior civilization the collapse of which allowed the current distribution of power throughout Geilinor's human populas. Avvarocka had a Zaros city there (digsite) then and Zamorakian city and finally saradomnist Varrock Ardougne has fallen into turmoil since the king elft it half to Tyras half to Lathas. llVIU
actually with each new update it looks like Runescape is advancing in time, from the dark ages to the renissance It has some modern/futuristic things, such as the fixed device that is simmilar to a bazooka, and the repairing of fairy rings... looked like it was fixing a telephone pole. The tower of life has workers that look very modern, and many "scientists" look modern too, especialy in the observatory. The goblins also represent the 19th century, they travel all around runescape just like humans did back then, discovering every corner of the world... I'd say runescape is more like a modern world without detailed use of electricity (but there's even an electric fence sort of thing, in "while guthix sleeps" quest) but they don't really have all their info organized. No gunpowder either... Goal: getting all skills to
T. Skill
No gunpowder either... I'm pretty sure there is gunpowder. It's used in one of the quests that's a prerequisite for Great Brain Robbery I believe, can't recall the name though. Pirate Rosetta stone.
